Re: AST - Perks of the job

As usual baba raises fairs points that mirror what a lot of us also feel although he chooses to do so in slightly different fashion

I too would like to know why, if your relationship with the club is strained as you say, that this hasn't been made public and why the reasons for this tension ...

Re: AST - Perks of the job

Ok I have had enough and I am going to bite now. I can't take this shit no more.
Timothy. Can I call you Timothy? Fair play for coming on here and putting forward your points of view, much welcome and I understand where you're coming from.

However with all due respect pal, I ain't a fucking idiot ...

Re: AST - Perks of the job

Firstly I believe that I stated in my post the importance of perception in everything that is done publicly - the relevence of that statement is that every time someone from ast is wheeled out in front of the camera's/radio's it is perceived that these people and their opinions are reflective of ...

Re: AST - Perks of the job

I respect the fact that tim has come on here to explain things even though he knows that such views would differ from the majority on here and kudo's to the man for that. I do however take issue with the "I am not the spokesperson for ast" statement - when an individual appears on sky and is ...

Re: AST - Perks of the job

Sorry but the AST regularly puts itself forward in the media as a de facto spokesman for Arsenal fans so I think fans are right to question what it does and what its agenda is. And frankly I refuse to believe that the AST's membership are all completely satisfied with the state of the club, and I'm ...

Re: AST - Perks of the job

Tim the link you posted on twitter of a thread off of here was over 3 months old and many of the people posting abuse have been dealt with, slightly unfair example of feelings towards you. I think the posts since your reply is a better representation of thoughts on here now

Aye I realise that, I ...

Re: AST - Perks of the job

Good post Tim and very few can argue with any of it.

I do wonder why the club are trying to keep the bloggers sweet though, I guess they are worried that the pen is mightier than the sword so to speak.

No doubt, I know the dig. It's about fostering good relations, but clearly blogging is the ...

Re: AST - Perks of the job

Howdy. I thought there were some things I should clear up about the old box invitation via the club for the Sunderland game. I wasn't invited because of my membership of the AST. I was invited in my capacity as a blogger, hence the e mail that came to me from the club also went to other bloggers ...
