Re: Other teams & games

Pep has gone three at the back. Stones, Otamendi and Kolorav. Gundogen, Fernandino, Fernando, Silva, Nolito, Sterling, Aguero a front 7. He must have Sterling and Nolito playing as a hybrid winger/wing back. ODnt want to jynx it, but I suspect WBA can hold City here. That WBA sure held City today :D

Re: The Shkodran Mustafi Thread

Early days, but this could be the signing that really makes a difference. His positive confident defending, communicating and winning mentality have already given the team visible lift.

Re: Is it time for a Summer Transfer Window Thread Yet?

I wouldn't be surprised if it's a done deal... They wouldn't don't want the announcement and repercussions/distraction just a few days before a big tournament

Re: Is it time for a Summer Transfer Window Thread Yet?

We've been crying out for an aggressive, nasty, ruthless streak, and all of a sudden it looks like we could sign the one player who opitomises that - we should be excited about the prospect. Vardys killer instinct could bag us a huge amount of extra points and would have made the difference in some ...

Re: Is it time for a Summer Transfer Window Thread Yet?

Brilliant news if it goes ahead.. And it looks a real possibility..

It would force us to tweak our style to playing quick counter attacking football with him and Sanchez... . Ozil would smash the assist record this time round

Re: Toffees away Saturday 12.45

Tidy game from Elneny in the midfield, he slots in nicely with Coq. Iwobi growing as Arsenal player and the link up between him and Welbeck gave us a real threat. Even Gabriel looked solid today. I wouldn't deviate much from this line up for the rest of the season, apart from maybe Cech.

Elneny and Iwobi slotting into the team and embarrassing the likes of Ramsay and Walcott

Re: Welcome: Mohamed Elneny

Can't complain for the money spent . Looks like he'll grow into an assured tidy squad player. Beefed up the midfield significantly when playing against Spurs. A midfield 3 of Elneny, Coq and Rambo looks like a solid option for us for the remainder of the season Spend fu.ck all and set the bar low -...

Re: Scum Away 5th March 2016

Disappointing to shoot ourselves in the foot yet again in such a crucial game but relieved to finally show some character after our recent shocking performances. Coq had a shocker but the positives were Elneny coming in and giving a bit of stability in the midfield.. We must stick to this midfield l...

Re: Most shambolic performance

How about the 3-1 Monaco defeat. That has to be up there for me. The best chance we've had at progressing to the next stage in years and we fucked it up with a typical dire, gutless and naive performance, summed up by Chamberlain scoring a get out of jail goal and then losing the ball minutes later ...

Re: Barca Home Tuesday 19.45

Also even accounting for them obviously having an off-day this Barca team is not as good as 5-6 years ago. They have an immense front 3 who between them score and create goals with very occasional assistance. Behind that Iniesta is a shadow of the player he was and Rakitic isn't fit to lace Xavi's ...

Re: Leicester at home 14th 1200

Great bit of magic from Ozil..I actually thought he was having a bit of a stinker up until that moment, along with the likes of Ramsay and Sanchez. A great rally to at the end to get the 3 points but it covered up the cracks of our sloppy uneven performances of late.
