Re: Blades bumholes A Mon Mar 4th KO 8pm

I’m pessimistic but you never know. It’s certainly not the foregone conclusion it has been in recent previous seasons! We can beat anyone on our day.

I just hope we give it a good go and don’t fade away again. At least make city (or Liverpool) win the title as opposed to collapsing.

Should win and be top of the league by the time Liverpool meet City.
City to beat/draw with Liverpool and we beat City.
That was all going so well until the bit about us beating city!

Re: other matches this weekend

Fucking disgraceful challenge by Holgate, worst I've seen in a long time. If Mitoma hadn't taken the weight off of his left leg, his career could be over. Glad to see the Sheffield cloggers going down, they don't deserve to be anywhere near the PL :box: And the ref only booked him initially as well...

Re: Burnley bulbeyes A Sat 17th Feb KO 3pm

Havertz, Martinelli and Trossard all started against West Ham.
Usually I’d expect no changes after a 6-0 win but with champions league coming up and some players possibly back from injury, who knows?
I saw an article about Fabio Vieira coming back to full training, i’d managed to forget all about him!

Re: West Ham murdering filth A Sun 11 Feb KO 2pm

Another great defensive display. Not the first time we have totally shut out teams and given them nothing. There have been a few individual errors throughout the course of the season that if they didnt occur, our defensive record would be better than it already is. Conceded the least amount of goal...

Re: West Ham murdering filth A Sun 11 Feb KO 2pm

Fantastic, win, six goals, five different goalscorers. As easy a victory as you will get away from home. Just wondering, did anybody see Havertz on the pitch? He actually did okay, was even calling for the ball every now and then. Not saying he was great but he did okay. BTW Rice a shoe in for our ...

You wouldn’t see De Zerbi winning that one by 6, would you, you dickheads!

Re: West Ham murdering filth A Sun 11 Feb KO 2pm

Brilliant! Such a one sided first half. Let’s get another 2 or 3 second half and absolutely batter them! Stadium could be nearly empty by full time if we carry on like this! Then our players can walk straight down the tunnel at full time whilst all giving the middle finger to the sky cameras :barsca...

Re: Mikel Arteta, success or failure? - Merged thread.

I don't know.... its almost like appointing a novice as manager of a huge club is a bad idea.... And if we go back to the start of the thread, I think I posted a stat about managers under the age of 40 being appointed to PL teams and how the average time they spent in the job was somewhere ...

87% possession, 27 attempts on goal.

Lose 1 nil.
Don't forget 25 of those attempts will be gutless and never gonna trouble the keeper ones.
And the other two absolute sitters. One headed over by Jesus from 3 yards out and the other shinned wide by Havertz/Saka/anyone really

Re: Shower of bindipping arseholes* who got us all banned in the 80s H Fa Cup Sun 7th Jan KO 430pm

Ultimately a very frustrating game and another defeat. First half performance was very good and we should have scored several. Wasteful finishing but it was better to see than the tippy tappy side to side passing of the past few games.

Not so good second half and we need to start scoring again soon!

Re: Fulham Fartpipes A Sun 31st Dec KO 2pm

Terrible performances and results the last two games. 4 points from our last 5 league games!

Drawn 4 and lost 4 at the half way stage of the season is nowhere near good enough

Re: Fulham Fartpipes A Sun 31st Dec KO 2pm

This is pathetic. After such a poor performance last time out, another one isn’t surprising sadly but after going ahead so early, to play as badly again is very disappointing

Currently one point ahead of spurs as things stand. Definitely a top 4 challenge as opposed to a title challenge.
