Re: Your Choice As Manager
I thought he was brilliant at Sevilla, unlucky with PSG because of what happened with him in the Champions League . If he can win us three Europa League cups in a row, at least that will double our current European trophy haul. This is more positive news. Totally agree! PSG didn't have to play that...

Re: Your Choice As Manager
Christ, let those Emery rumors be true! He would be brilliant replacement if we can't get top tier managers like Simeoni, Allegri etc. He was very good at Sevilla with pretty much average players.

Re: Your Choice As Manager
The guy rightly says that there are clubs across europe that we simply cannot compete with financially, but realistically how many are there ? PSG, Bayern and the 2 spanish clubs are (along with both manc clubs and the chavs) the only european clubs that are a financial level (or two) above us, but...

Re: Your Choice As Manager
With the names now being talked about I really don’t know why we don’t just go for someone like Sean Dyche. Chris Sutton mentioned this on radio 5 earlier - he also absolutely slated possibly appointing Arteta. If we appointed Dyche, Arsenals status as a big club would be over. If Dyche is the best...

Re: Your Choice As Manager
I don't know why but I have a strong feeling that all this Arteta talk is just a smokescreen to keep the attention away from the real negotiations. Sacking half of the backroom staff and appointing no mark manager just doesn't make any sense. I hope you're right mate - What puzzles me is if any of ...

Re: Your Choice As Manager
Good read about hiring Arteta. Again, that appointment wouldn't make any sense.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
To be fair our injury record over the last year or so has been much improved. Wonder why they would be getting rid of all of the staff if they're bringing in Arteta though? Must be about to appoint a manager who will come with his own backroom staff surely. This would make so much sense that it has...

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Please don't do it. Wenger may still end up some shit hole as a manager and sure as fuck there will be enough to discuss and banter about him.flash gunner wrote: ↑Mon May 14, 2018 11:40 amCeremonial locking at midday tomorrow ok with everyone?

Re: Your Choice As Manager
This is getting very interesting say the least. I'm gutted if they won't appoint Allegri, he would've been perfect fit for us. But, I still think Arteta isn't coming as number one. It just doesn't make any sense. Would club release most of its backroom staff and employ a guy who won't bring his own...

Re: Your Choice As Manager
I'm not against a new manager but i am definitely against some no mark or inexeprienced also ran being appointed. We need a top class manager now, not somewhere indefinitely down the line, for me there are many reasons for this: 1) A top class manager is more likely to make the most of what we curr...
