Re: Modern Football Bol**cks
I just don’t get playing matches around the world at all. If you go down that route you are appealing only to people looking for a night out - rather than supporting a club. You might as well have an 18 team closed off franchise league, with matches taking place in a different country each week. Mix...

Re: Everton H Sun 19th May KO 4pm
the list goes on and on and it has all led to me gradually falling out of love with the game that I was obsessed with for decades. Now, I watch us and us only. And even then sometimes I have to force myself to watch us. :| I doubt that you are alone in that. I reckon you're right there, mate. But t...

Re: Mikel Arteta, success or failure? - Merged thread.
After this season I'm now of the view that it almost doesn't matter who our manager is in terms of winning the league. It's actually impossible until the cheats are finally dealt with...err and they will never be dealt with, so the cycle is hopeless Fair play to Arteta for being a manager bold enou...

Re: other matches this weekend
I watched their first goal again. It’s suspect as fuck. They completely stand off Silva, they watch and let KDB beat the trap, the goalie does a bizarre leap in the air and they just watch the troll tap it in. They can literally see where KDB and Haaland are and watch them go about their business a...

https://twitter.com/arsenesglasses_/status/1790504897529499683?s=54&t=h9-WcgkZG4dnyx5an1PoIQ This ^^100%. Sky and TNT pretending that City have achieved some sort of organic success is farcical. In no other walk of life would you be charged so extensively and still be able to carry on you're jo...

Re: other matches this weekend
December 6th was the last time they lost a game. It’s soul destroying and utterly fucking helpless. It’s not fucking natural. Rubbish. The invincibles never lost a game all season. Our title winning team in 91 only lost 1 match. This City team is very average - which is why they failed again in Eur...

Re: other matches this weekend
I’m actually quite glad that, in all likelihood we will lose the league by 2 points though. While 1 point or GD would fucking suck. 2 points though? Meh. Yeah until you factor in the 2 points that were fucking robbed off us up at Newcastle. It was a disgrace then but it’s a fucking tragedy now. No ...

Re: other matches this weekend
Not sure I can put myself through it all anymore Can't wait for next Sunday's final whistle They've killed football and we never have any right again to take the piss out of the SPL, or PSG running away with Ligue 1 again l, or Bayern and their 11 consecutive titles We now play in the world's most ...

Re: other matches this weekend
It’s weird the Tottenham fans getting riled at the city players flopping easily but yet offering zero support to their own team. Strange bunch. At the end of the day though, our title hopes will still be just about alive while their hopes of serious European football are done. Spurs are not actuall...

Re: other matches this weekend
I can’t stress how much I LOATH City and Guardiola. Neither are genuine in the game and only ever benefitted from as mass amount of money. Never mentioned by anyone in the press, nor is there ever even a cursory glance at the billions of pounds they've spent. There needs to be more pressure on them...

Re: other matches this weekend
Any Spurs fans who actually want their team to win tonight are crazy. They will never ever live down tonight if Arsenal go on to win the title. Put it this way - any Spurs player who scores a winning goal tonight then that will completely define his whole career, regardless of what else he might ach...
