I'm with you 26th May. All I am stressing is that Arsenal do not see the cheque book as a viable way of achieving honours., They prefer to do it in a way that keeps the books balanced with sensible purchasing at realistic prices. This makes our achievements even more remarkable but this sadly overlo...

Exactly . We use the loopholes to our advantage and do not break the law (although we may flaunt it on occasions). To me giving the youth a chance to express themselves in a big team environment benefits all and does not cost us a fortune. If teams like Barca are not prepared to take a chance on the ...

I don't care if football has changed. There is no skill in winning the league through massive purchases of already made stars. This is why Wengers was voted top manager of all time ahead of Fergusmoan on that recent top 50 managers program. We have something very special in Arsene and if we win anyt...

CHERISH THESE MOMENTS

I know a lot of you are fed up with the lack of spending but I have been going to AFCsince 1987 and think we should regard ourselves extremely lucky that we are essentially still being run as a proper balanced football club at present unblemished by Fantasy style rich benefactors flashing the cash a...

Whats happened to the Sami Nasri Lambrettas Poison Ivy song. I know the atmosphere at Emirates is crap but surely he's given the singing section enough incentive to give it a whirl. Come on lads a few originals is what we need.We used to be revered for them. My next away trip is Bolton So I'll singl...

Sorry but with our lightweight midfield offering no protection to our already suspect defence coupled with it being WBA's 1st game back I can see 2-2.

At least we would still be top for a couple of hours!!!

Personally I can't believe the Gooners are preparing to go into the Premiership with a squad this thin. After no competative games we are facing Twente with 9 injuries. Whats it going to be like when the games are coming thick and fast? Come on Arsene we clearly need at least 2 more signings (centra...

The guy is purely saying what he has to to try and get the fans back on his side. He wanted to go, no doubt but all of a sudden no one seemed very interested so he had to get the best deal he could at the gooners. His closing comments said it all' My heart is at Arsenal.....at the moment' Give it a ...

Trust me this one could be a real gem!!!

Wasn't the Arsenal TV commentary appalling. All the old cliches coming out from the main commentator and more embarassingly Martin Hayes. It wasn,t til after half time that the commentator realised it was Wiltshire rather than Ramsey who scored the first. Gut wrenching stuff reminiscent of that firs...

Birch East Travel Lodge for us. 7 miles from Bolton . Curry in Bolton post match, drive to Travel Lodge , dump bags and walk to The White Hart for a few pints with the locals (5 min walk from the Hotel). Cheap and easy. Tried and tested.

And £29 for the room!!!

I have an original Green. No Sponsor on mine as I didn't want it back then. I was only 18 at the time so its a rather tight fit now. The Toffs effort is hopeless. Nothing like the original (obviously no Umbro sign but the collar is far too open as well). If I shed a couple of stone over the season I...
