Re: Cesc Fabregas inteview in the Guardian
Good interview and he still speaks well of Arsenal. He would be great back in this team but then Ramsey or Jack would sit it out. He went at the right time for his career and he's making the most of it. I bet he would love to come back and play with the current squad just to win the league with Arse...

Re: The birthday and Xmas present for all Gooners, Bergkamp
I started reading the Henry biography and got bored with it. Are there any decent football biographies out there at the moment?
I've lost interest in them, the last one I enjoyed was Vieira's. No doubt the two biggies are redknapps n fergusons at the moment but both seem a bit bitter and mundane...

Re: our repeated long term injury problems
It does seem the increase coincides with the move to the grove and improved training facilities, could the surfaces they play and train on have an impact? I've read somewhere that the pitch isn't 100% grass its intertwined with other textures to give it the immaculate appearance and its durability. ...

Re: Crystal Palace Away
Oh no, this game reeks of "new manager" syndrome. If it is Pulis then we might be in a bit of bother.
Before Tuesday this would've been a gimme but a defeat and CRP (sky abbreviation) letting Holloway go just makes this a good test of our character.

Re: Toffees losing their badge to a cartoon too...
I found out the only way you could vote was if you had a match ticket from this season, and it was in the home stands. Apparantly, there is a code number on them. So, it wasn't open to ALL just the ones who've attended a match. The positive is that if arsenal went down that path they should make it ...

Re: WBA in the whatever its called cup
Koscielny should play in every league cup until we win it after his fuck up in the final. How about Eisfeld, Yennaris, Bellerin, Jon Toral, and Akpom, surely they have to be involved if fit? I'd go Viviano, Bellerin, TV5, Koscielny, Monreal, Arteta, Flamini, Zelalem, Bendtner, Ryo, Gnabry, A bit wea...

Re: Lies & Statistics - Our Defence
How did we defend over the whole season against the top 8 ? That's a better sample than the mostly poor teams we played in the run in. Not really considering arsenal teams of 2, 3 ,4 or 5 years ago shipped goals to crap teams on a regular basis and were rightly slated for being shite defensively. W...

Re: Sept 21st/22nd Prem League fixtures
Anybody see di Canio still at Sunderland by November? His seemingly abrasive personality and his constant criticism of the players make sacking him quite an easy decision if the results aren't there. I hope he's still with us then. Sacking him would achieve nothing, he's not blameless but it's far ...

I'm not his greatest fan but if he is due to make a re-appearance on Wednesday, why do I get the feeling he's gonna make a goalscoring return???

Well, he's said that feels that he owes the club something and he managed to convince wenger to give him the chance to rectify what clearly we could've achieved had he stayed, wasn't he the first of wenger's boys to jump ship? To change the mind of someone as stubborn as wenger he must've been brutu...

They were a title winning team, just they were too drunk to challenge for the title but could pull it out the bag for the cups.VoiceOfReason wrote:In fairness, we most certainly weren't a title-winning team when Bergkamp joined us.

Re: International football
The issue with the manager is a mute point. If the FA were to select the English coach who has proven to be consistent and successful in the last 10 years Sam Allardyce would be top of that list. His success comes from sustaining a mid table team in the mid table. Steve Bruce can also be added to th...
