Re: The Orcs at home

It could get really toxic if we don't win this - the silent walk for the exits might start 3 minutes earlier than normal, there'll be a ripple of booing from the 10,000 or so left in the ground and sales of the new 3rd kit will be 10% less than expected for a normal matchday. That'll show you Stan....

Re: The 2015 Transfer Rumours Thread

"Put off by the 50m price tag on Cavani". That's what happens when you shop on Lastminute.com. They don't need to sell him, they think we're desperate so they ask a ridiculous sum and maybe they get lucky..... but if not... hey they never wanted to sell him in the first place. If the tight...

Re: The 2015 Transfer Rumours Thread

Benzema would have been a good signing for Arsenal, admits Giroud Olivier Giroud insists he would have welcomed the arrival of Karim Benzema at Arsenal before the striker insisted he was happy at Real Madrid. And Giroud said he would have welcomed the competition. 'The coach [Wenger] knows very wel...

Re: The 2015 Transfer Rumours Thread

Earlier in the thread I posted that we had enough goals throughout the team to get by without signing a striker. The start of the season has proved how totally fucking wrong I was. I'm a big enough person to own up to my mistakes....what are the chances of our "boss" realising his mistake...

Re: The 2015 Transfer Rumours Thread

This whole transfer window feels like some sort of parallel universe that we arent in and can only watch from afar :( I really, really wish that someday soon we get the finishing position that our club ambitions actually deserve - all over the league there are clubs busting a gut trying to improve,...

Re: The 2015 Transfer Rumours Thread

We have soooo many little midfielders. A seemingly endless supply, who, when the going gets tough, get going..... nowhere to be found. When I see the miserable looking Arteta standing there waiting to come on I feel like putting my foot through the tv. You actually forget that we still have him (isn...

Re: The 2015 Transfer Rumours Thread

I see Man.U are looking at the young Monaco striker as a last minute desperate boost. We at Arsenal all know that cannot be true as Wenger has stated categorically that there are no strikers available. I truly believe that Wengers sole purpose is to get CL football for the least amount of outlay. Th...

Re: The 2015 Transfer Rumours Thread

Once Gary Neville told the world what we needed to do, he effectively slammed the door on any hopes. Wenger is the smartest guy in the room, if not the entire football world and he is not going to be told by a lowly football pundit what he needs to do. So now, he is going to prove EVERYBODY wrong. H...

Re: THE WENGER THREAD

The worst thing that could of happened was Gary Neville's criticism after the Liverpool game (he was spot on btw). That kind of talk infuriates Wenger no end and now he'll dig his heels in. To go out and buy now would come across as Wenger taking advice from lowly pundits who are not nearly as smart...
