Re: city away thread

I keep having this awful dream of the Villa game. Giroud, given the freedom of Islington by a statuesque defence, scoring a hat trick, a header from 2 yards, a sloppy back pass, and a ricochet off his shinpad in a scruffy goalmouth scramble. The 3rd will be celebrated by him running over to embrace ...

Re: THE WENGER THREAD

Koeman 8/1 to be our next manager, his contact at Southampton apparently ends same time as wengers . Which Wenger contract? the current one, or the new 3 year deal on his desk, ready to sign when the going is less rough. With the risk of sounding repetitive,I don't think, from here on out, there is ...

Re: THE WENGER THREAD

A lot of this softening towards Wenger in the media, ex players is down to the acceptance that Wenger will step aside/down next summer and because of his record early in his Arsenal reign he should allowed to run down his contract. Who believes he will? I see no indication he is ready to hand over p...

Re: city away thread

At 25 softly spoken Aaron Ramsey is developing signs of becoming the leader that Arsenal so desperately need. Ramsey, stripped of the Welsh captaincy before the the Euro 2016 qualifying campaign because Crhis Coleman felt he was too quiet, was seen angrily confronting Olivier Giroud and shouting at...

Re: Protest Saturday

Spent far too much of Sunday replying to what I once thought were realistic Twitter followers smug that the protest has become something of a joke among pundits and journalists. Manys tweets asking if they are happy to donate their money to an American project that has stagnated the club for years. ...

Re: THE WENGER THREAD

For those who are delusional enough to think that Wenger will have an epiphany and make several world class signings, well yesterday was a sign of things to come. Next season will see Giroud miss more sitters, Ramsey will be ineffective as usual, and as for signings, we will sign no one, or rather ...

Re: Protest Saturday

I implore you to listen to what Jamie Redknapp says here on Sky not too long ago.

Today he called our protest pathetic.
Conclusion? the man is a thundercunt.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD

To be honest my feeling is the fact that the ground had 10,000 empty seats the other night would have had more impact on the club than that protest especially because of the singing if TO1AW straight after gives the impression of more people being pro than anti :banghead: Not exactly, the thousands...

Re: THE WENGER THREAD

Oh and by the way, you can read into Sanchez's reaction when he came off he is no fan of Wenger either, lets hope what ever rumblings are going on in the dressing is enough to end the old fools reign.

Re: Protest Saturday

I did tell you. These spineless c unts of fangroups who said "we only deal with improving the atmosphere in the ground" 5 years ago when we wanted them to get involved. Now they have taken my TimeForChange message, weakened and diluted it and destroyed all the good work weve been doing fo...

Re: THE WENGER THREAD

The soccer Saturday boys absolutely ripping into Wenger right now. Merse getting quite emotional! All going well until they had the front to say the timing of the protest was wrong, Wenger wriggles off the hook again. This the same Merson who compared him to a squatter in your house? And no mention...

Re: THE WENGER THREAD

The truth! http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/arsene-wenger-why-i-decided-to-turn-down-real-madrid-6757680.html Real wanted instant success, Wenger wanted a long term plan to work with their youth team, and not spend on galacticos. Just imagine they could be scrapping for 4th spot now, and have £160m i...
