We are now halfway through the transfer window period. And I think it is safe to say, that we won't be making any major signings . Whether or not this will prove costly, we must wait and see. To strengthen sufficiently to win the title would require at least 3 major signings , and that certainly wo...

I was fuming after the United semi last year where half the stadium left after Ronaldo's frre-kick. Wrote an article that got published in the Online Gooner and I saw the link to here from there. Great place to vent frustration/air thoughts as I fear my girlfriend would probably have left me after t...

I'm quite bored of all this "the media hate Arsenal" diatribe. It doesn't exist. Match of the Day don't hate Arsenal. The British media love you when you're up, and kick you when you're down. That's how they operate. 2002 and 2004 they absolutely loved us. We're average now so they don't g...

Benayoun likely to miss our game too, and Gerrard won't be fully fit. Excellent news all round. Although just as likely we will get 10 more injuries by then!

A great club like ours with the tradition we have and now we have a transfer policy akin to that of the blackburn's and bolton's of this world where we sign old players that nobody else wants and loan/short term deal's - what quality player in his right mind would want to sign for us ? :oops...

I agree with you hatemanu. It would be very much to Arsenal's benefit if clubs had to live within their means. Trouble is the nasty bastards in life always seem to get ahead don't they?? If they didn't, Roman Abramovich would be a civil servant in a small Russian town and Simon Cowell would be an a...

Flamini is still unproven over a sustained period of time in the Prem , id have him back in the squad given the chance, but I actually think we have a better Squad now than we did in 07/08 with Flamini - unfortunately we are suffering more injuries to key players which may be our overall downfall. ...

Personally I think what Platini advocates is a good thing. It's not an anti-English clubs thing, it's anti-big clubs. The very biggest/richest clubs are becoming even bigger, and stifling competition. There are only a handful of teams who can even hope to win the Champions League, or the Premier Lea...

A lot of journos, despite what us fans might think, are actually quite well disposed to Arsenal purely because the club treats them with respect and lays on a decent spread at games and press conferences. They might write a lot of utter bollocks, but without them the club and football in general wou...

I'm just pointing out that Flamini wasn't the only reason we came close to winning the league. You could just as easily say get rid of Billy Gallas as he caused the implosion of our season at Birmingham. Flamini had one good season and got himself a nice transfer as a result. Good luck to him but he...

As long as the Premier League remains so attractive to global audiences none of this should matter. Big clubs heavily in debt will just get taken over by wealthy arabs/russian oligarchs. So United and the Mugsmashers will be around for a while yet. Chelsea perhaps slightly less so as their fan base...

Well facts are we came very close to winning the pl with flamini and without him we haven't :? And whe your aguement is also based around the credentials of Lehmann :? He was by far a better keeper than al or any of our other incumbents w...
