Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread

Chavs signing Lavia now too? Total piss take. Can anyone tell me how this is possible? Think that’s £970m spent in 12 months now  It’s partly explained by us buying Havertz for £65m apparently. From my experience I reckon they will need to qualify for the Champions League and also flog a boat...

Re: Forest H Sat 12th Aug KO 1230

Hopefully it's no more than a tweak as a full blown rupture (the 7 to 9 months out that is being reported) would have seen Timber in complete agony as Mings and Militao certainly were.

I thought FIFA/UEFA/theFA were putting measures in place to stop clubs getting around the FFP thing by banning 8 year contracts and any other loop holes FFS! :banghead:
Clubs can still give long contract but they cannot amortise the payments over more than 5 years.

Re: Forest H Sat 12th Aug KO 1230

Our game against the Mancs apparently they were actually painting the worst parts green just 20 minutes before kick off.

One report I saw showed someone by one of the corner flags actually lifting up a huge amount of the turf as if it was a rug.

Re: Forest H Sat 12th Aug KO 1230

Just looked it up and actually it's 6 players. All saw action on their US tours.

Timber, Nkunku, Militao, Courtois, Mings, and Buendia.

Just an opinion but maybe those crappy temp pitches put too much stress on joints.

Re: Forest H Sat 12th Aug KO 1230

Not sure I'd blame the medical staff mate. How many knee ligament injuries have we heard of the last week or so? 4? All players that represent teams that toured the US and had to play on those ridiculous temporary pitches. I don't believe in coincidence myself. It's just all about the money and play...

Re: Forest H Sat 12th Aug KO 1230

Personally I'll hold fast on my doom and gloom regarding Timber until there's an official statement from the club. Players with a totally fúcked ACL don't tend to try playing on, they usually lay there unmoving in complete agony. Unless he has some off the scale pain threshold then I'm inclined to t...

They're wheeling out Mike Summerbee again.

Just like West Ham and Geoff Hurst.

What will they do when they both peg it?

Re: Modern Football Bol**cks

Went to a league 2 game today and oh wow the new rule on added on time is going to cause chaos this season. Hardly any major stoppages yet 9 mins were played at the end of the 1st half and 11 at end of 2nd half! Match didn’t finish until 5.10pm. Ridiculous. WTF? What is the actual rule? A f...

Nope I can't be arsed again. Debate I'm fine with but pig headed responses trotting out the same opinions regardless I won't waste my time on. :D I'll take that as there wasn't a response you could make. I actually think my last point is probably the accurate one. Oh I could respond OK. I eve...

Re: other matches this weekend

FFS mate don't be so obtuse! Havertz is learning our game. Last night Trossard and Jesus where continually swapping positions to an extent never seen before, along with Havertz too. Partly has been seen at right back again after substitutions. I could go on with more examples. It's nothing new or un...
