Eastmond for England

He's done well when he's played for the first team in the holding midfield role, not afraid to put a tackle in. He should go to the World Cup after all Theo went and he hadn't even started a game for us, at least this lad has already played in the Carling Cup. :barscarf: :barscarf:

Was Wenger right about Villa

Of course he was. You can say that about ALL the team'sMartin O'Neill has manged.

By the way another classic quote to deflect the press away from an average team performance.

Greatest win against Man Utd

At the Grove 2006, 2-1 victory sealed with Henry's last minute header from an Eboue cross, best moment we've had at our new home.

At Highbury 4-0 win in the league cup in 2002 (I think??) Wiltord hat trick, Kanu got the other.

should we have given the ball back

NO FUCKING WAY!! After the all out assault on Cesc last Sunday what gives them the right to complain about unfair tackles. The ref ran past him and he didn't stop play. Would they have done it for us, would they hell!! We should have had 3 penalties in the two games against them, didn't hear Coyle s...

Traore - yay or nay?

I say yay. He's done alright. He didn't let anyone down. No better or worse than Clichy before he got injured. Puts in a great cross.

Cashley's goal

That was a goal straight out of the DB10 repertoire. No way he learnt that at Chavski.

Ryan Babel??

A couple of years back before he moved to Anfield we were strongly linked with him and I remember an interview with Overmars in the Arsenal magazine in which he said that Babel will be better suited to our way of playing. I think he would do really well for us but not in January, sign him in the sum...

12 months ago Bendtner and Song were a waste of space which many on this forum wanted us to get rid of. Now we are crying out for Bendtner to return from injury and Cameroon to get knocked out of the ACN as soon as possible. Have they improved that much or have we as supporters lowered our standards...

Adebayor in Arsenal top (today)

Maybe cos when you are in shock/mourning you tend to seek comfort and he feels more comfortable in that top, regardless of the badge. He may also have got more support from his African ex team mates then his current ones Song, Eboue. Either that or he's shit scared of what Vieira will do to him when...

"The Wonder of You" replacement song

How about something from the only person who's had the stadium singing and rocking "The Boss" Bruce Springsteen. Anyone who went to his gig at the Arsenal knows it was AWESOME! although Thunder Road had the whole crowd singing which showed off the acoustics of the stadium, something the te...

Theo's ferrari rejected

Hopefully this will give Theo the kick up his arse he so dearly needs. If not, well...we might have another Cashley on our hands.

Money can't buy you love, Theo.

Gallas has been poor for us this season

He's a great defender, but a shit striker. Can someone please tell him to stay back and defend? :banghead: He gets in the way when he decides to stay up! :banghead: :banghead:

An interesting comparison

I reckon that if we have 50 points on the board by the time we play Chavski then the titles ours as we will have 13 (or 14 depends on when we play Bolton home) games in which 10/11 are winnable for this squad. Only Liverpool and Man City home, and Spuds away are the difficult games. Compare that to ...

Anelka - Up for grabs?

Two season ago we we're top of the league and didn't sign a striker. We lost Eduardo to injury, Ade stopped scoring and Bendtner was shit. Had we signed Anelka from Bolton then we would have won the league. His contract is up in the summer how about making a move for him now? £10m should wrap it up.
