Jack Wilshere merged thread
Funny how at the beginning of pre-season the story around Jack was that he wanted to leave and Wenger kept quite tight lipped and said he needed to get back from injury and then he might have a chance of playing. To this weekend there being stories on how Jack now wants to stay and then Wenger almos...

Re: LEICESTER CITY HOME GAME THREAD
Tough game to start with I think. They have signed a few decent players and given that our injuries are already piling up, i'm going for 1-1

Re: Welcome Alexandre Lacazette
Think we've hoped over the past few years we would end up spending big money on a complete striker like Suarez, Benzema etc...and compared to them Lacazette seems quite limited and doesn't seem the type to create some magic on his own. Big worry that we will still be extremely reliant on Ozil and Sa...

Re: Kolasinac signs
Seems a good signing and good planning (for once) to get on a free....Might mean Montreal becomes a regular as left centre back in the 3....Seems a good fit in that role

Re: Welcome Alexandre Lacazette
Not massively sold on him but "He'll be the 2017-18 Chamakh" is a bit strong. Hopefully he will be able to adapt to the chaos of premier league defending, just hope to god Wenger doesn't put him out on the right (or left) to "learn". Be interesting to see if at any point he plays...

Re: Charity Shield
Personally think tomorrow a big game for both teams. While as a trophy to win its meaningless, a heavy defeat or a decent performance and victory can set the mood for the proper start next week. Imagine the atmosphere against Leicester next week if we play like we did in China the other week and get...

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
After all that happened last season i genuinely thought it would be different this summer but so naive. Cant understand why we haven't shipped the deadwood out. On the 1 hand we are saying we will give up 50m+ to make Sanchez stay, yet we are haggling over a couple of £m for players like Keiran Gibb...

Re: Tony Adams - Granada CF Head Coach
Do you think the club will make an effort to bring back the likes of TA6 once Wenger goes? I know a few players have positions or have been offered positions but seems like Wenger is content to let them make the tea and nothing more. The annoying thing is that all the greats of the 90s and early 00s...

Re: Giroud/Marsailles
Find it amazing that a team with our so called ambitions has a players of such physical limitations. He's obviously not crap but he's a mid-lower Prem striker at best.

Re: Oxlade-Chamberlain
Feel a bit sorry for him as don't think he's had the coaching he needed (like many other players) since arriving at the club. But at the same time i'm not sure he has the mentality or the brains to be at the top level.

Re: ArsenalFanTV v Gary Neville
Agree with the general consensus .....such a missed opportunity for them. Obviously got them a load of views on youtube and some new subscribers but it came across very amateurish and petty. All, bar DT's q's about the banners, asked pretty much the same thing with Neville giving the same answer tim...

Re: IWOBI
Don't particularly rate Iwobi but doesn't seem someone with great belief in himself. He played well in his first few games but if you look at his body language recently, especially Bayern away, he looks scared and like a little boy. Cant think why Wenger thought he was a good choice for Bayern away....
