Your alternative non-Gooner heroes and why ?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Your alternative non-Gooner heroes and why ?

Post by SteveO 35 »

Just for fun

1. Christian Gross

Gave rise to the song "Spurs on their way to Endsleigh" with his own brand of ineptitude - in my lifetime the manager closest to get the Scummers relegated

2. Gillett and Hicks

Waited decades for the loathesome Mickeys to get their payback for getting us punted from Europe. These two have come the closest (well Souness did a good job of fucking them over as a manager too)

3. Berti Vogts

Bring him back now. Your adopted nation needs you !!

No way - the boy Gross was in a League of his own. The Scummers actually liked Ardiles

"Spurs are on their way to Endsleigh" was under Ardiles.

George Best.

Leaving aside my natural hatred of man utd, I reckon this guy was the most complete player in the world. Ever.

He also knew how to enjoy himself off the pitch.

Just a shame that he fucked up two livers. :(

THE VERY MUCH MISSED SIR BOBBY ROBSON.

Gentleman, real, real football legend. And, I MEAN LEGEND!

I still have great memories of Italia 90.

He also did tons of charity work.

RIP.
