( Ladies football ) Arsenal 3 Liverpool 0

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

( Ladies football ) Arsenal 3 Liverpool 0

Post by maddog »

Great day of afternoon of football seeing a well up for it, committed goonerettes playing nice neat passing game. They could have scored several more hadnt it been for several saves/blocks from Liverpools battered defence.

A decent crowd of just inder a 1,000 enjoyed a passionate game, the girls fully focussed, roll on Thurs eve Chelsea at home. Like I have stated before the all British ladies team play with far more conviction, passion than our Arsenal mens team appear to do.

I was shocked by the increase in programme cost, £2 but it was a double issue covering Chelsea game. Its got to the stage now when seeing the ladies win for less than a fiver is preferable to seeing an apathetical Arsenal turn in a mediocre friendly like performance for £50. The atmosphere was probably better yesterday than Emirates yesterday as well especially the last few games of last season, people can see theyre trying their hearts out and arent being fleeced, thats the difference.

Rant over, ps where is our central defender?

Why was (Ladies football) added to the title of this thread in a NSFW style after the original post?
