best named footballers

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Didn't Villa also have Young and Bent?

Anyone remember Motsons commentary when he said that someone and someone else were warming up and then cut straight back to commentating when Kuntz had the ball. It went something like, DB10 and IHH are warming up for England, Kuntz, passes to ..................

Ok he wasn't a footballer but I once knew a guy in my days in construction called James D'Bastarde (pronounced Deebastar with a French accent, and waving the obligatory white flag  ), so us Oirish lads being witty fuckers called him Jimmy The Bastard. :-P

Used to be a rugby league player in Brisbane in the 1970's called Wayne Carr. Quality name.
