Arsenal Transfer Fee Spending 2005 to 2012

This only reflects the actual "transfer fee" and doesn't account for wages or contract bonuses like goals, appearances, etc.

Nonetheless, alarming. We've actually been selling more the further we get from the building of the Emirates, though you would think it would be the opposite.

Never knew we retained the FA Cup in 2006

Why does it say we spent nothing in 2010/11, we didn't get Koscielny and Squid for free so :?

Oops. FA Cup was in 05 but I mistakenly put it as 05-06.

Koscielny was 9.7m but put in the 09-10 costs via soccerbase. Squilly had no disclosed transfer fee so none was reflected.

Will have to make some amendments obviously, but gives you a general idea still.

Park Chu-Young £3.000.000 to £5.7(depending on which report you read)
Joel Campbell between £850000 & £950000(depending on which report you read)
Carl Jenkinson from free to £850000 to £1m(depending on which report you read)
Gervinho between £10.500.000 to £10.600.000(depending on which report you read)
André Santos from £6.1m to £6.7m to £6.8m(depending on which report you read
Per Mertesacker from £8m to £10m(depending on which report you read)
Thomas Eisfeld from £420000 to £620000 to £660000(depending on which report you read)
Mikel Arteta £10m to £10.560.000
Ox £12m to £12.144.000

the buying figures for 2011/12 could be as high as £58,410,000 or down to £51,720,000 or down further to £48,720,000

Im not having a go at the message just dont be over relient on the figures quoted on some web sites regarding figures and when we signed or brought players. I know it's only £6.6m(could be nearer £10m depending on which reports you read) but it could distort the figures over the 7 years if this is true for the other years in buying and selling.

The highest buying figures I have found for 2011/12 are £58,410,000 the lowest selling price I have found for the same period is £63,875,000 which is a diffrence of £5,464,000 a lot less than the £15,280,000 your graph shows
