So, there's a kind of violence in our society now where everybody has opinions and we have to live with it, but I just, the only thing I say, I accept, you know, people's opinion, but during the game you want people who are fans to be behind the club and that's what I refuse. I will never accept that during a game. If people want me out, they want me out, I can accept that. In the game, you support the team, it's as simple as that.
"I meet many Arsenal fans who are absolutely fantastic. I just said there was maybe 1pc, but the 99pc of our fans are absolutely fantastic. We play for the 99.9pc.

"I am a forgiving man. This job is basically trusting human beings, you know, so if you cannot forgive, you cannot trust.

So you 1% of fans against him he is big enough to forgive you...be blessed
For goodness sake. If anyone needs forgiving its not the fucking fans. And especially not by you, Arsene! :banghead:

Thinks he's Jesus now does he? Or would that mean demoting himself?

Oh and by the way 100% less 1% is not 99.9%. Wenger the great economist eh? He couldn't add his way out of a paper bag  And anyway he should be playing for 100% of us, not just the ones he thinks agree with him .... which is another figure he has got massively wrong

Of course this is just speculation and they only quote "sources" as saying it.... but I've believed this for months now. The deal was done long ago. He was never leaving. That is what I honestly believe.

And with what Adams is saying about the Board being fucking spineless.... but hey guys they are not a problem at all huh?

Ask yourself this; would the owners of Citeh, the chavs, Manure, the mousers, (even fucking tottinghams ffs  ) retain a manager for 13 years after his last PL title? Would they fuck.

I had accepted he's staying a few weeks back but I don't believe that he will be here for the full two years.

Nope they wouldn't (aside from Spuds maybe!), they have conditioned us to accept top 4 as success, they and Wenger got off the hook this season because of winning the cup, otherwise it would have been an unmitigated failure this season.

The cup will be a perfect excuse to keep Wenger in Kroenke's eyes and I doubt a few mumbles from Gazidis or Chips will deter him from forcing a new deal through, after all we just won the super bowl cup thing, more than good enough for my Euro franchise soccer club.

Who on earth would want to sign for this toxic club right now.
I expect that Nigerian youngster from Belgium can't bloody wait !

Now now Stuart, haven't you heard about this boy? Why, he's just had a fabulous season with....with....err, what was the name of that club ??

Anyway, be positive, who knows he could be our next Zalalem......(wtf happened to him? Wasn't he another "next big thing" ?).

Arsene knows.
Zelalem just done an acl in his knee at the under 20 World Cup in South Korea playing for USA
He is out for 6-9 months

Genuinely sorry to hear that. However (and this is absolutely not the boy's fault), where has he been for the last 2-3 seasons.....yes, a rhetorical question, I know he's been on loan.......when he was another of Wenger's "next big things". Still, I suppose his position as that magnificent protégée was usurped by Sanogo eh ?

These comments from me and others, are not directed personally at the youngsters, they're directed at the old clown who keeps selling us the tired and false dream, that our future is assured in the hands of these youngsters, who then don't make the grade and eventually, disappear off the scene to emerge at Brentford, Rotherham, Hartlepool etc etc .

Clough had just done an interview where he tore the board a new arsehole (comparable to Wenger's "absolute disgrace" tirade from Saturday) and was furious when the chairman wanted him to field a weekend team in the league before a massive midweek European semi final.

The Derby chairman cornerd him in the tunnel and hit him with this little beauty -

the reality of footballing life is this:

The chairman is the boss,
then comes the directors...
then the secretary, then the fans,
then the players...
and then finally, last of all...
bottom of the heap,
the lowest of the low...
comes the one, who in the end,
we can all do without...

the fucking manager

Must say I enjoyed that in my hungover haze
Think Clough had the last word, moving down the road to rivals Forest and winning the CL twice.....
Fucking killjoy

Wenger himself stated months ago he had been in contact with Kronke and has 100% backing, yes never in doubt

Wenger himself is the only one who can stop the 2 year extension

Strange posters on here still think he will go, would love to know more about this reasoning, would make me feel happier to think there was hope :D

Interesting news from Tony Adams,

Wenger cancelled his book signing at the Emirates, because of the Sun serialisation......

Tony also commented on his love of money......although with no friends he has nothing to spend it with

He’s also got a weird relationship with money. He’s on £8m a year but Arsenal’s junior coaches are on 30 grand.

"Chelsea’s coaches are on £90,000. Take seven million, Arsene, and give them all a raise.

Not such a socialist after all then Arsene

I believe he's staying 200% but I'm playing devils advocate. The fact there seems to be some sort of doubt as to what is happening suggests that there is something behind the scenes that is not quite right? The only way Wonga is going is if Josh Kroenke is anti-Wonga. It would appear Gazidis probably is, and I don't think there's another person on the board who either has the balls or who is influential enough to even cast doubt on the situation except Kroenke Jnr. Maybe, just maybe the younger Kranky can see the bigger picture? We've all read how his dad loves Wonga but you don't really hear much about Jnr except that he wanted Henry to be manager one day. If Kranky Jnr isn't on board, then barring every other old fart suddenly growing some cohonas, Gazidis will be the one leaving within the next couple of weeks because if Wonga signs and there has been dissent from Ivan, then he will be out, the dictator won't stand for it. For now all we have is the tiniest bit of hope that the revolution is about to start at our Arsenal........and it is OUR ARSENAL, not Arsene FC!!

What Adams said is spot on, he would have been sacked after 1 year at Real Madrid...
The former Gunners captain told the Guardian: "He said: ‘I’ve turned down every club in the world’. But he would’ve been sacked after a year at Madrid. He would’ve had to go to from club to club.
