Charlie George

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Charlie George

Post by Revgoon89 »

I wonder if anyone can help me out here, my old man has a friend who happens to have an England ticket from the only game where the legend himself appeared in an England shirt. So we were wondering if anyone knows where Charlie happens to be prior to a home game so we could get that ticket signed for him?

I shall reward answers with tits.

Funnily enough we did a legends tour by him for my Dads birthday back in the summer. But that was before we knew about our mate.

Lovely chap though, Arsenal legend through and through. Wish I had been around to see him play.

Met him once, but that was in Hill's on Upper St before a Villa game. Man of the people!

He lives in the area so you could stalk him...met him once in Highbury, seriously is a man of the people. Think his England cap came against Republic of Ireland in Wembley September 1976...in his Derby County days.

Can't forgive him for trying to join that lot and then throwing the Arsenal scarf on the floor when he came back with Derby. Broke my heart as a kid.
