Re: NEWCASTLE AWAY
I only care about finishing above the toilet team.
We shall win this game by the odd goal, 3-2, 4-3.
I couldn't give a flying fuck, as I shall be trying to set up a Perth WA, ARSENAL, hate AW club, when it transpires

Re: NEWCASTLE AWAY
3rd choice Steve Harper will be in goal for Newcastle. Wonder if he'll pull a Fulop?

Re: NEWCASTLE AWAY
Giroud back, could be a useful option seeing as we have started to cross the ball at last.

Fingers crossed we can find ourselves 4 nil up at half time. I mean what could possibly go wrong after that?

Re: NEWCASTLE AWAY
If we beat Newcastle 2-1 & Chelsea draw 0-0 with Everton both teams would have equal points & goal scored & difference. How would that work

Head-to-head, we'd lose out.mcdowell42 wrote:If we beat Newcastle 2-1 & Chelsea draw 0-0 with Everton both teams would have equal points & goal scored & difference. How would that work

No head to head, officially it goes to a playoff according to the premier leagues FAQ page

Re: NEWCASTLE AWAY
AH right - what happens if it's non-consequential? Can't see them forcing a play-off between 11th and 12th? I guess you could maybe take joint-11th but practicalities of a play-off seem absurd.Jack Stealer wrote:No head to head, officially it goes to a playoff according to the premier leagues FAQ page
Just looked it up and found what you said on the PL website. Only thing is it answers "who wins the league" if points are level.
