Anderlecht at home

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Gotta wonder what is going on with Campbell?

It's simple, he isn't here long enough to be marked as "another wonder of Wenger", so he won't play him. If he did and he would be good, all credits would go to Olympiacos and Betis, not Arsene. :rubchin:

plus scoring in a WC quarter final, is not match in experience for Ligue Deux now is it ?

though i'd be shocked if we needed a goal and Arsene PLC put sanogo in ahead of Pod too.

How we have still kept a clean sheet is beyond me - we look in trouble every single time they attack us

I like merse but he don't half talk shite at times - he claimed pre match (when talking about wally's return) that there is no manager better to ensure that a player returning from injury isn't pushed too hard

Am I the only one who thinks Monreal has played really well at centre half? Better than I've seen him play at left back tbh

He has been one of our better players defensively this season. Quietly unnoticed.
Hope we can score another goal early so I can see 30 minutes or so of Theo and or Yaya.

...Oh, wait, Wenger only do subs at 70 minutes

Peace

That sums us up Gibbs in the box, central, with a clear shot on goal and he passes

Still will make the possession stats good eh
