Southampton away

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Southampton away

Even with Schneiderlin suspended we really shouldn't win this, but with the luck we've been having.......

We have been fucking diabolical there for the last two years. I've not actually seen much of Southampton this year so I can't comment much on the style of play and versatility under Koeman.

Southampton away is a game where it's particularly important to start well. Do that and with some of their recent results we could easily get well on top. Start poorly and God forbid concede a goal and their fans will make a racket and they'll start stroking the ball around like 1970s Brazil.

1-2 to us dont you think

Missing Giroud and most creativity though, and they are well coached, probably a draw :|

It'll be 2-2 at 83 minutes and Wenker being the utter failure that he is will make the same kind of substitutions has been doing and so rather than play a balanced attacking last 7 minutes - we will be squeezed back into our own pen area and pelle will score with a header when BFP (big fuckin' pussy) bottles out!

So sorry boys, but you'll have to wait a bit longer to get the magical end all be all 4th place wankfest going. This as the good fortune that Clueless has enjoyed over the Yuletide season will get checked here.

3-1.

Why thank you very much Mr Flash, nice to be here. They will try and outplay instead of out muscle us. Sanchez & Welbeck on target with pelle scoring with 8 mins to go to give us the usual nail biting ending.

yup, can't believe the happy hammers rolled over. so am thinking the saints will too. especially with their best player suspended.

they are on a days less rest - and might lose to the improving (slightly) bin botherers. as some have predicted the 'pack' is folding and we are dead on course for a May eruption in Rodders crackers...

Having been cruelly denied some self love by Saints draw with Chelsea, my new Year's resolution to play less pocket billiards will be blown out of the water on day 1 when another 2-1 win for us, sees the glorious VT come ever closer

Southampton have bottled it every time they have played one of the big boys this season and I don't see this game being any different 8)

Momentum is a big thing in footie and our boys are on a positive roll at the mo - the saints on the other hand are having a mixed bag of some positive results mixed in with some negative ones. If we score early I expect us to give them a lesson but either way I expect us to win 3-1
