BRIGHTON AWAY - FA Cup 4th Round

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Just curious, why didnt you ask him if he was old git Gooner  :D
My son still thinks I'm pretty cool and outing myself as an internet chatroom dweller would have wrecked that image

I know it's all if's but's and maybe's - But it makes one wonder what might have happened had he not had such a long spell out with the injuries.

he is very much a "Classy" player - a pundit referred to him a a "Rolls Royce" player which he is...He reads the game incredibly well and many of his goals are "Quality".

Super Super Super Tom! :barscarf:
 Mind you he did gift Saints a pen in the credit card cup this season in one of his only starts- Horrible tackle attempt, right in front of Block 6 as well  luckily enough (for me was in the clock end that game) also scored v the Mackems last year, smashing goal with a bit of a special Giroud flick on,

He was also shocking against Anderlecht when he came on but I guess you have to accept that when he had not played at all this year.

He is a classy player but he's also deceptive because despite his age he skips past players and moves the ball incredibly quickly when he's playing well. Gives us a different type of player there.

The BBC is to tell Match Of The Day pundits to be 'careful' about what they say after Phil Neville prompted complaints with remarks about tackling.

True. If the slackjawed gimp grows a beard he's gonna look like a 1970's porno actress's vagina. :puke:
