Cheers buddy ! Happy memories of the finest footballer we've had at the club since the Invincibles broke up. Abou loved sticking it on the Mickeys

Refresh my memory here...SteveO 35 wrote:Cheers buddy ! Happy memories of the finest footballer we've had at the club since the Invincibles broke up. Abou loved sticking it on the Mickeys
wasn't it against the Mousers that he famously came on as a sub after 2 or 3 years out injured, lasted a whole 9 minutes, promptly kicked fresh air, pulled a calf muscle and then did the rolling arms "take me off" gesture to the bench and then disappeared into the treatment room for another 2 or 3 years? Was that against the Mousers?

All I can recall is absolutely running the show and scoring up there in the CL, man of the match in the game where Poldi got his first goal and that brilliant diving header in the video clip !DB10GOONER wrote:Refresh my memory here...SteveO 35 wrote:Cheers buddy ! Yes it was that game. That was the match we "stole" 2-1, with RVP smashing home a winner from one of Songs audicious chips.DB10GOONER wrote:Refresh my memory here...SteveO 35 wrote:Cheers buddy ! Even Abou is having a pop now. Poor Arsene. Made him a multi-millionaire! Diaby didn't seem to mind each time contract renewal day came around eh...
Marseille's Abou Diaby says leaving Arsenal has finally helped him get over his many injury problems, having suffered 42 injuries over the course of his nine years in north London. (Metro)

Ungrateful *word censored*; these remarks will hurt Arsene's feelings. Won't somebody think of Arsene's feelings?
Did he break his jaw whilst running his mouth to the journalist?

Anyone else agree that we're desperately missing Abou now ?

After signing for Marseille in July he injured himself in November and, I think, still hasn't played a match for them. Definitely over his injury problems then.
