We have this every year, the medical staff are always away on holiday until July.
We could have Messi waiting to sign, but everything has to wait until the staff return.
How rigorous does a medical have to be for a keeper? Just greet him with a firm handshake, if he cries out in pain, forget it.
And if it is his hands thats the concern, transplant Diaby's, they were the only parts of his anatomy Diaby didn't injure.

Ospina was pretty damn good against argentina yesterday.
Please why cant we sell Sir Scez instead. Might get more than the amount reported for Ospina. :banghead:

I think though not good enough to be number one for us, he is too good to be a 2nd choice goalkeeper.

When he puts pen to paper it will make my willy weep.

I can understand Ospina going - he waited for his chance and realistically he performed as well as he was ever going to. Hardly like he was dropping clangers for fun but he is an average keeper. Saying that I'd rather keep him than Szczesny, who I can only presume is on an absolute wedge and has actually realised that he couldn't dream of being a guaranteed starter at a club at Arsenal's level as he was until this year.

Fair play, absolutely class signing. Mourinho must be fucking seething at Abramovich.

Another example of the folly of Wenger giving youngsters long term contracts on big wages

So we shouldn't have signed them to new contracts?

Surely their contracts are worth protecting as we could sell The Ox, Wilshere and Ramsey for £60m+ easy. Gibbs and Jenkinson would bring in £10m+ between them as well.

Plus I think Ox, Wilshere and Ramsey have bright futures.

Ramsey has come good but the guy had 4 contracts in his first 5 years - can anybody say that a) he deserved that many pay rises b) we needed to in order to keep hold of him?

No.
