It's picked up by both the Telegraph and Sun so hopefully something in it.

Must admit my despair probably leads me in to wanting this to be true so am certainly along with many other fans open to any false story that offers faint hope!

Just hope the businessman in Stan sees the financial sense were it to be true.

It could well just be a well aimed attempt to force fans into action against Stan (whilst we are as frustrated as we have ever) with no real financial muscle behind it to force him out at a cheaper price.

Well I don't know what you guys think, but if a consortium was to pay £1.5bn for a football club they must have clear intentions to invest in the team. They do not want to make a quick profit aka Kroenke...

Instead of just the 5th richest! Honestly, it will be fucking hypocrisy of the highest order if this happens and Wenger sticks around after all his pathetic whining about petro-dollar clubs.

I'm skeptical though, the articles are not very specific, there's lot of vague promises no doubt intended to win over the fans and tbh I wouldn't even be at all surprised if the whole thing is an AFC-sanctioned plant. "Look guys, big investment is just around the corner, please renew your STs"

Whatever, this'll be an interesting one to watch...
