The ''no one is coming'' Transfer Thread

Post by Arsenal Till I Die »

I'm sorry but if this is true this is a massive joke.

''Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has asked the board to complete the January transfer of Michy Batshuayi, according to reports.''

Why wait when we are going to be out of everything to sign a player?

Yes I can confidently say Benzema, Suarez, Higuain, Ibrahimovic, Cavani, Carvalho, Wanyama, Busquets, will NOT be signed in the January transfer window...

I'm sat here watching Bayern v Wolfsburg...
Lewandowski came on as a HT sub (Pep doesn't like suing with proper number 9s). Bayern 1-0 down to title rivals Wolfsburg.
He managed a hat-trick inside 5 minutes. Better still, he managed 5 goals in 7 minutes. One of them a ridiculous bicycle kick. When his agent piped up over summer a bid of £45m shoulda gone in. He's worth every penny FFS.
Still, he's no Giroud  :barscarf:

I'd have been amazed if Bayern had sold him. I'd also be amazed if he genuinely was for sale that Man Utd weren't interested either.

Seems far fetched to me. He only joined Bayern a year ago.

Batshuayi might actually happen. Think about it:

French speaking? Tick.
Plays in France? Tick.
Mediocre? Tick.
Not wanted by any big clubs? Tick.
Would be desperate to join? Tick.
Quiet boy who won't believe the wages on offer? Tick.

Batshuayi is coming...

OBG don't you think our players spend enough time on the treatment table already, they don't need any more excuses

I think so! Yup, no top players are ever sold so what's the point in bidding eh?
I mean let's ignore that he started their biggest domestic league game of the season on the bench, showing how highly Pep rates him. :rubchin:
You don't ask, you don't get. How many times did Monaco repeat Martial wasn't for sale? Chelsea bid for him.
How many times did Bayern say Keoos would be made to see out his contract? How many times did Wolfsburg claim De Bruyne (player of the year in the Bundesliga and at a wealthy club) wouldn't be sold? Pleeeease.
