KROENKE OUT / The Board / Staff etc (merged thread)

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Our club is a total mess right now, and it would appear the power struggle in the board room is greater than many realise, does this shed more light on Misintlat going and the removal of the scouting network?

Oh how I'd like to ask some serious questions of Red Action and the others whose actions allowed the takeover by these American idiots and the subsequent disintegration of a once great club and it's standards :rubchin:

were they actually any addition to the club?

There is no need for an investigation into the Pepe deal. It's plain to see we overpaid

So the King is dead long live the King !
There are only 2 or 3 reasons I can see !
1. he's been caught with his fingers in the till
2. He has clashed with Arteta and has lost !
3. Josh finally realised he was an overpaid clown who knows nothing about football and decided to save money for daddy by binning him and fahmy !

You can be sure he didn't resign, look at the clubs statement it smacks of a scaking !

Personally I'm very pleased he was a complete fraud ,something we specialise in !

Sanhelli modern day George Graham. Arsenal recruited a corporate lawyer Tim Lewis from Clifford Chance in July, wouldn't be surprised if he's looked into Raul's transfer dealings and found some dodgy stuff. Especially with the Pepe Transfer.

Does it never end at Arsenal, in probably the most crucial transfer window in our recent history.

------------------

We become more of a joke the longer these American clowns run the club (into the ground), the FA cup win is a perfect distraction though.

 :censored: :cussing:

As I have said before, le-grove was a strong critic of wenger and then all of a sudden had some inside club access and turned into a wenger supporter - he now has the cheek to question other people's morality and principles ?

This quote on emery I find particularly amusing

"I simply refuse to believe that the Arsenal analysts pulling info on managers looked at Emery’s record and said he was a top drawer manager"

That is fair enough on face value, but seeing as he is another pro arteta guy, I'd like to see where arteta's cv has anything to suggest that he is or will be a top manager. Again regardless of whether you were an emery supporter or critic, the guy had won 3 europa leagues in a row with seville and that is no small feat, so by all means criticise his performance but not his cv

Does anyone know if this shake up is likely gonna see us revert to proper scouting of potential signings, or is it more likely to push us down the road of signings based on football manager or some shite like that ? The whole mess is frying my brain :banghead:

Just seen these mislintat quotes from last year and it does kinda point to the mess we are now in and how the chickens have come home to roost

"We had different approaches. Previously we had a strong systematic approach to transfers, a mixture of watching things live as well as quality data and video analysis -- Arsenal actually owns their own data company," Mislintat told 11Freunde in July 2019.

"That meant that we acted independently, we knew about all markets and players in all positions that came into question. However, the new leadership work more strongly with what they are offered from clubs or agents through their own networks."

Ooops - forgot to put quotes in originally

The internal leak yesterday about the Pepe transfer and today the trigger gets pulled. No coincidence there, he’a been rumbled.

Looks a good day at #afc. Influence being felt of Tim Lewis, well-respected lawyer appointed to board a month ago. Obviously close to money-fixated KSE but could prove enlightened influence, understanding & responding to fans’ frustrations as well as tackling internal issues 1/3

More influence for Vinai Venkatesham also looks good news for #afc. Venkatesham respected within the game. Cares about Arsenal. We exchanged emails a while back and his passion for the Club shone through. Clearly a man who wants to do the right thing. 2/3

#afc recruitment strategy was well-known in the game for becoming too agent-led. Arteta knows the players he wants so Edu can work with him to facilitate that. Arteta is key. Club should/do trust his judgement. Good luck for the future to Raul Sanllehi who is leaving the club 3/3

ESPN say there had been growing discontent at the way transfers were being run at the club, with an investigation launched into whether #Arsenal overpaid when they bought Nicholas Pepe for £72m.
https://t.co/xFMOudnS0N
In my view we paid about £60 million over the top for Pepe!!
Fuck Raul and good riddance!

We really need some stability if the club is to move forward, will these 'departures (Sanhelli and Hussy), provide it? We seem to lurch from crisis to crisis and nothing improves. We can but hope Vinai and Edu can stabilise things but with the links between Edu and Kai Whathisname in question it worries me where all this is headed :rubchin:
