Just wondering what Chelsea's returns policy is on players like Willian.

Few whispers online that following Diego Costa's contract termination at Atletico, we're sniffing around him now on a short term contract.

If true, a big mistake! Do.Not.Need!

The Chavs would be like a market trader who’s just sold a ‘Boss’ Polo Shirt for £70 and the buyer has got home and found a ‘Fruit of the Loom’ label inside.....fack off mate, no returns!! :suicide:

Or a football club from north-east France who sold us a bloke who was wandering past their training ground looking lost and confused, one summer's afternoon for £72m.

Unfortunately I think it’s the same “no returns” policy they had on Luiz and Cech :x

Do we know who scouted / recommended him?

Obviously Raul got a little over excited and paid well over market value but I’m assuming Pepe must have had a shit hot recommendation from someone??!

Btw, didnt the goalkeeping coach want us to sign brentford's keeper ? Dont think runarsson was his choice
Just checked and yeah, Cana coached Runnarson at a Danish club and, according to Runnarson himself, Cana was instrumental in bringing him to Arsenal

But you’re right, apparently Cana also coached the Brentford keeper and seems to want to bring him to Arsenal too!..... very cosy :rubchin:

I've always suspected there was something a bit not quite right about this transfer and the money paid. Surely someone was making a bit out of it and the price reflected this.

According to Bild, Hertha Berlin have given permission to Omar Rekik to complete his Arsenal medical. The fee is around €600k. Rekik will join up with the #Arsenal U23s, but will train with the first-team. https://t.co/Y0yV3M7l4Y

Schalke are working on a loan deal for Sead Kolasinac, who is 'desperate' to return to his former club. [@SkySportDE]

And not a day too soon either 8)

It isnt that I hate the guy or anything, but his "averageness" sums up a lot of what has been wrong in recent seasons, and we can never hope to get back to the required level if we keep sticking with guys like ceballos (and xhaka and elnenny)
