Reports like this always amuse me - if we have funds in place and are ready to make an offer, why not make the offer now as opposed to fcuking about for a number of days ? If the funds are not in place (as is likely to be the case), then how can we say that we are gonna be making a bid next week cos we dunno when we will have the funds in place ?
