Absolute bullshit rumours today that we want to sell Pepe.

I say they’re bullshit because we’d never take a £50m loss on a player, which is exactly what would need to happen if we flogged his sorry ass to some unsuspecting team currently.

According to @Eurosport_UK, William Saliba is available for a move as sources indicate that there is no future for him at the club while Mikel Arteta is in charge. #Arsenal https://t.co/4DgFE9ixHy

#Arsenal will also consider serious offers for Granit Xhaka. https://t.co/YKMcydbgnr

If there was a league for wasting money in transfer windows we would surely top it by a mile.

Pepe
Xhaka
Saliba
Luiz
Willian
Mustafi

I'm sure you can add more to the list but we really have wasted a vast sum of money on sub standard players.

Saliba and Pepe both bought from French clubs in the same summer under Raul Sanllehi's spell in charge of whatever it was he did. There was also talk for paying more than the release clause for Leno and Torreira.
Sanllehi's exit back in August was all a bit quick and a bit cloudy. Something wasn't right there and I've got suspicions that perhaps somebody might have been making a bit on the side from the deals for the first two in particular.

The 32-year-old attacker, who was once linked to Real Madrid and Barcelona, could have a chance at LaLiga Santander. Willian is not happy at Arsenal, a team he joined at zero cost last summer after his contract with Chelsea ended, and Betis is willing to make a significant financial effort to recruit him into their ranks.

Translated from LA RAZON , a Madrid based paper.

I'll drive him there myself and pay for the fuel - useless, lazy, disinterested chav c.unt. Thought it would be hard for me to hate an ex-Chav as much as that helmet headed cock we were stuck with for years, but this piece of dump is right up there with him. Robbing decent young kids of a chance to shine every week.

Take the list of players who are never going to get better - Bellerin, David Luiz, Mustafi, Kolasinac, Ceballos, Xhaka, Willian, Lacazette, Ozil - and add their wages together.....fuck me. Whilst Kroenke is an undoubted c.unt of the highest order, watching that lot take well over £1m out of the club every single week must be like watching bank notes being lobbed on to the fire

You missed out the keeper , who at best would be a back up to someone decent.

Prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt - has actually done something in an Arsenal shirt - where as I look at that list of sorry c.unts and wonder if there's even been a top team who have accumulated such a bag of shit

I dont know if saliba is good enough or not, but what I will say with absolute certainty, is that we will never know if he is good enough unless he actually gets to play some games. Some might say that he must be shit in training or else arteta would play him, but again I will ask "could he be any worse than mustafi or maybe holding" ? Is there ever gonna come a time when arteta realises that players like xhaka, willian, mustafi and holding (and there are more) are simply not good enough ? All I see is young players being fcuked out of the club or left in the stand - easy options for a brainless coward

Its a genuine mystery with Saliba isn't it? The club wanted him for what seemed like ages, but as far as I can recall there wasn't a whole host of other clubs interested?

He must be absolutely shite in training and for the academy if he hasn't done enough to even be on the bench or considered ahead of the players you mentioned, which almost defies belief.

For me the 'acid test' for Arteta and his view towards younger players will be when we have a fully fit Martinelli. If pricks like Willian and Lacazette keep him out of the side then I think we'll know once and for all what we suspect is his attitude towards youth vs his old mates

Saliba was meant to be a player coveted by a lot of the bigger clubs in europe when we signed him

I will also say that I will in no way place any faith at all in arteta's assessment of him - a manager that continues to pick willian and xhaka deserves to lose all credibility when it comes to judging players.
