Houssem Aouar could be available for just €30m this summer, half the price Lyon were demanding for the midfielder 12 months ago. [L’Equipe] #afc https://t.co/Z8mm7T0Adv

According to @90min_Football, #Arsenal are keen to bolster their midfield & remain interested in signing Denis Zakaria. The Gunners have been tracking the Swiss international for over two years, long before Mikel Arteta arrived at the Emirates Stadium. https://t.co/QRM9v3urpy

Zakaria is expected to come with a reasonable price tag as he has just over 12 months left on his current Gladbach deal. https://t.co/VbybGocrqN

The Gunners have a fairly limited transfer budget to play with, & are exploring creative ways to finance their summer business. They are open to a number of player-plus-cash swap deals, & in Zakaria's case, the idea of sending Granit Xhaka in exchange has been discussed. #Arsenal
Because the last Swiss midfielder we got off Gladbach turned out great. :banghead:

If our top priority for the summer is an 18 year old that most of us had to Google then we're truly fucked.

The Guardian report #Arsenal have appointed a headhunting company to recruit new scouts in a number of key positions, nine months after gutting their previous recruitment structure in favour of a more streamlined approach.
https://t.co/C1Ty1V6Hl8

The Guardian understands #Arsenal have asked Nolan Partners, who specialise in filling senior roles within sports & entertainment, to help them find scouts in a number of areas where their presence has been light since last August.

#Arsenal are seeking two scouts in Germany, one of whom will be focused on youth recruitment, as well as new personnel to serve the UK, France & Spain. Discussions with some candidates are thought to be under way.

Shouldn't that have been done after they cleared out the last lot?

Not long until, arguably, the biggest transfer window club has faced in YEARS and we haven't even got effective scouts.

Give them a chance, Arkela has been keeping them busy with Bob a job week, they need a rest due to “leetle bit jaded” and a slight tightness of the woggle

Just have a read of this article..

https://metro.co.uk/2021/05/10/arsenal- ... -14551347/

The guy's another wannabe saying that he's got to improve to come good etc etc blah blah blah. he's had a shite season and Arsenal are making him their top priority. FFS!! how long before we're in League Div 2?

Good to see Leno up for sale but look who they want to replace him with - a guy on a 12 month ban for alleged drug misuse.

They wanna hire some plebs to hire more plebs who can do our scouting. Really?? Jesus fucking christ!!! I can't believe i'm reading this shit.
It's so bad you just couldn't make it up in a million years.

A monkey with a typewriter could do a better job of running the club.
Our scouting team are a bit like a cow with an iphone.

Fucking wankers every single one of them!!

William Saliba will play a part in the Arsenal first-team ahead of next season. The player will not be loaned out again.

Mavropanos will also be given a chance during pre-season, however Stuttgart are pushing hard for another year loan deal. Mikel Arteta will decide soon. #afc https://t.co/O5vwdxK4Qa

It’s an Arsenal Board Meeting.....Vinai, Edu, Tim and Mikel are at the table, Josh is on Facebook Portal playing with his Super Mario Lego set.....

Josh- ‘So guys, anyone know know anything about any players in West Germany at the moment?....oh, Mikel, great game the other night by the way, I heard the two young guys
Emile and Smith-Rowe were awesome!

Mikel- thanks Josh, yes the guys are finally getting my vision, I think we’ll get to where we want to go if we do well enough to get there....

Tim- Let’s get back to the question guys

Vinai- I hear there’s a great CB called Franz Beckenboard or something like that

Josh- ok let’s get some of the latest YouTube vids on this guy, if he costs less than 20m we can go for him, offer him no more than 400k a week, we need to watch the budget, dads got a few fines to pay and a new weave to purchase

Edu- Josh, I know a guy who has some contacts in East Germany, I’ll give him a call

Vinai- I’ll call him Edu, I’m good on the phone

Mikel-thanks Josh, did you get that Swiss watch I sent you by the way?

Josh-yeah thanks man, those Swiss.....hands pointing everywhere.....

:?

Before we fired Wenger, i said that my biggest concern was that we had nobody on the board with a single contact in English or European football worthy of the name. We've had god knows how many CEOs, technical directors etc since then and this is further proof of it. They remind me of some of the people I worked with in private equity who buy a company and then appoint someone like KPMG to tell them how to run it and what to do next. The only important difference with the private equity mob is at least they sell the fucker to the highest bidder within 3-5 years, where as we've been stuck with this odious c.unt for a decade and it shows no sign of changing

Our scouting team has been nothing short of a fucking joke for as long as I can remember. The only hope I had for our recruitment was when Mislintat was here but he couldn't stand being around for more than 12-18 months

Headhunters will typically charge 20%-35% for placing senior roles, so just keep an eye on those financials when we spunk millions hiring absolute no mark c.unts and pay a third party for the privilege

Message to Ek - either put up or shut up.
