ALL Transfer talk - merged thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Eriksen was past it for the PL when he jumped ship at the scum. He's not the answer. Having said that - yes he'd be a massive improvement on fuckmonkey Xhakatard.... but then so would a half interested Ozil, a raw Smith-Rowe, a mostly gash Willock, a completely gash Maitland-Bendtner, a very average Elnumpty, and my dead granny.....

I’ve had a look round quite a few French sites and the consensus is, Marin’s post was bullshit. Saliba lost his mum but no-one has heard of his dad dying.

NEW: #AFC owners, KSE, are prepared to make further investments in the team, with Dominik Szoboszlai already under discussion with hierarchy and technical staff.

According to @pbsportswriter, #Arsenal have been offered the chance to sign Christian Eriksen, but they have no plans to move for him & have not held talks about the Denmark star. https://t.co/ug3sRFaRIw

Mikel Arteta has made signing a centre back his top priority instead - despite Arsenal’s woes in front of goal. Club scouts have watched Turkey star Merih Demiral but he is unlikely to leave Juventus, with #Arsenal set to widen their search. https://t.co/GkgmqX1KdO

"Jack Wilshere has revealed it would be a “dream” to return to Arsenal, even if such a prospect is unrealistic right now."

I certainly hope they're not thinking about him returning. the last thing we want is another injury prone player to keep our medical team engaged.

Arsenal are ready to try and offload winger Nicolas Pepe and AC Milan could have two factors that work in their favour should they try a move, a report claims.

Jack was a talented player but he was his own worst enemy. He was jnjury prone at his peak and now with extra miles on his legs he would be worse than old bean head Diaby was. It's a no from me.

What two factors could they have in their favour? The two things that fucking silly prick, Pepe needs is a P45 and a new career.

If we can get shot of that useless glaiket (Scottish word for gormless arsepiece) lump of tolley for even a third of the 72mill it would be good business  3hrs up there with the worst signings we've ever had.
