OZIL - Merged Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

He (his management company) have just banged out another tweet wishing Wanka a happy birthday, fawning all over him and there's a few less than subtle digs thrown in towards Arteta to boot. Another masterclass from his PR gurus.

How anyone would want this absolute C.UNT back in the side is beyond me.

You know what? If he raped my missus and shit on my favourite guitar I'd still pick him every fucking day ahead of the twin spastics Xhakatard and Elnumpty. Every fucking day.

OK maybe not the guitar bit.

The media pages are full of Wenger & Ozil stories because they have nothing else to bullsh.... i mean write about.
Sick of seeing either as they're both has-beens and no longer of interest.
I'd rather see the back pages left blank than read another word about these *word censored*!

My initial reaction to Ozil's omission from the squad was that Arsenal have acted like a small minded club because he is a world class talent, world cup winner with a large global following. I do find it disappointing that The Arsenal have treated a player like him, like the have. But, if he's not delivering the standard he is capable of delivering then he should not be entitled to special privileges. With BFG saying Ozil is no longer focussed on his football then there is not much else Arteta could do. On Arteta's boat he doesn't want passengers. In that case Arsenal is no longer a ship, it is a trawler.

But in Xhaka he has the worlds biggest anchor!*

Strange they’ve taken an interest all of a sudden, I wonder why?

£ 350,000 x 37 weeks . Is it time to slap the cheque in the post and tell him to piss off and shut the door behind him .

Interesting take on this embarrassing saga.....

https://dnyuz.com/2020/10/26/the-erasure-of-mesut-ozil/

Whichever side of the Ozil/Arsenal debate you are on or whatever you believe, the key point in there that struck me is the hypocrisy of the club. They quickly publicly distanced themselves from Ozil's comment on the Chinese government (huge commercial market for club) but jumped in with both feet to support the Nigerian anti-government protestors (no huge commercial market for club).

We are owned by a cùnt and run by cùnts. :censored:
