The second they got the first goal it was inevitable.
If the scum win next I’ll off myself

Say what you like about the plastic Mancs, but I couldn't see us coming from 2 goals down to beat anybody

If they go 2 down and pull one back, whether that be in the 41, 61, or 81st minute it just feels inevitable to me that they will go on to win the game.

Made it through the group stage each time only to go out in the last 16 to either barcelona, bayern munich, and once to ac milan.StuartL wrote: ↑Tue Nov 24, 2020 7:32 pmFrom memory they didn’t remain in it each season for longNos89 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 23, 2020 8:42 pmWhen things are running as well as they are at Liverpool at the moment, klopp could've got Rush and Dalglish from the stands and they still would've won. Jurgen Klopp- the manager Arsenal could have had instead of extending the 8.5m a year contract of the senile old c.unt
Eventually we went for a Grade B manager years later, before moving onto a Grade U one now. Living the Kroenke dream

Don't forget that defeat to Monaco too. Lost 3-1 at home and then won 2-0 over there but passed the ball sideways for the last however many minutes instead of doing all we could to score a winner. Fuck me, that competition was depressing.Nos89 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 30, 2020 12:00 amMade it through the group stage each time only to go out in the last 16 to either barcelona, bayern munich, and once to ac milan.StuartL wrote: ↑Tue Nov 24, 2020 7:32 pmFrom memory they didn’t remain in it each season for longNos89 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 23, 2020 8:42 pmWhen things are running as well as they are at Liverpool at the moment, klopp could've got Rush and Dalglish from the stands and they still would've won. TBF they did have a go over in Monaco, (unlike the Bayern humilitions and the rest) going out on away goals, Sanchez ran himself ragged that nightPerryashburtongroves wrote: ↑Mon Nov 30, 2020 3:42 pmDon't forget that defeat to Monaco too. You may well be right, Red. I can't recall much as all those years of second round defeats just merge into each other now.Redarmy wrote: ↑Mon Nov 30, 2020 3:57 pmTBF they did have a go over in Monaco, (unlike the Bayern humilitions and the rest) going out on away goals, Sanchez ran himself ragged that nightPerryashburtongroves wrote: ↑Mon Nov 30, 2020 3:42 pmDon't forget that defeat to Monaco too. We may have to start cheering on teams that are playing the bottom 3 clubs soon.
