other matches this weekend

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Even Fulham can find a way to win a game, and against a “decent” side.

Championship here we come. We’ll be singing ee ay ee ay oh up the football league we go and jumping up and down because we didn’t get awarded a throw in by time full crowds are back :barscarf:

Bad news for our relegation battle to see Fulham picking up 3 points, sucks us in deeper towards the bottom 3 :suicide:

All those times I slagged off the likes of Burnley and Sheffield United with their little club charter and we'll soon be singing "Ingerlund Ingerlund Ingerlund" and "we support our local team" from Luton to Rotherham........great days

From memory they didn’t remain in it each season for long
Made it through the group stage each time only to go out in the last 16 to either barcelona, bayern munich, and once to ac milan.
Don't forget that defeat to Monaco too. Lost 3-1 at home and then won 2-0 over there but passed the ball sideways for the last however many minutes instead of doing all we could to score a winner. Fuck me, that competition was depressing.
TBF they did have a go over in Monaco, (unlike the Bayern humilitions and the rest) going out on away goals, Sanchez ran himself ragged that night
You may well be right, Red. I can't recall much as all those years of second round defeats just merge into each other now.
Yes very true.....always remember that one because of the amount of fans we had over there, we swamped Monaco :D
The other one that stands out is the 5-1 in Milan.....never to be forgotten night
saying that looks like we will never realise the dream of winning the champions league

Yeah, he's some man to score 4 in a dead rubber but watch him go 17 games without a goal when you need him most.

Cuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuunt

He is the single reason that rodders' beloved Ozil did not overtake Henry's assist record. :D
