Complete banter by united for that 3rd goal :coffeespit:
We would have had more than a puncher’s chance in the Europa final.

Hard to know how much this is down to them being absolute shite or having to play every 2 days but they’ve been fucking abysmal tonight.

Yeah dreadful keeping. Got his angles all wrong.

Seems to be the training , like defending , tackling etc they are dying arts.
Most keepers seem to be shot stoppers and spend time in recovering psitions . The art of positioning as in older keepers where spectacular saves were a rarity because they did not have to make them . Seaman , Schmeichel , Banks , Shilton knew their angles and covered their posts .

Good point.

Quite often you'd see a keeper scraping marks with his studs around the 6 yard box before kick off. Can't recall the last time I saw that happening.

When I saw the Salah goal in real time something looked really off about it, the finish just seemed way too easy. Then they showed the replay from behind the goal and Henderson was positioned outside his near post leaving the entire goal wide open beside him for Salah to simply slot the ball in to.

He was also shocking for the 3rd goal, spilling an easy shot which Firmino then hammered home. The mancs were all hoping that he was going to be the man to replace De Gea (who's gone from being the best keeper in the league to one of the worst) but any time I've seen him play this season he's been fucking terrible.

Long may it last :barscarf:

Willock gets his 5th goal in 5 games, are we really saying he isn't good enough for our current midfield?

Sometimes it's not just about the player but the team system and tactics. Maybe his game suits the way Newcastle play more than us?

Agreed. Pillock has been total garbage for us every single game. A quick run of form means nothing. Also, some players settle in better with less pressure at the smaller clubs.
