other matches this weekend

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Scum lasted about an hour on top of the league. Still, it was enough time to get a commemorative DVD and a t-shirt and mug combo gift set out. 8)

Lamptey and Lallana pulling Villa apart in the first half

Funny how they looked so solid in their last game. Hmmmmm

That boy Lamptey is a hell of a player - still, why sign a decent 19 year old English wide player when you can spunk 72m up the wall on a never will be from Ligue 1, and give 220k to a has been Brazilian

Just been given the most soft sending off, but causes havoc down the wing every time I see him play

Man City nothing short of an absolute disgrace for the last season and a half. Like the Arsenal of the late noughties - pass, pass, pass - all very pretty but blunt as fuck. Jesus is utter shite.

To have only won the League Cup last season and be out of the title race by February was disgusting. Their performance here is like the one against us in the FA Cup semi final. Never has a team with 80% possession ever looked less like scoring #pepout

As it stands City on the same points as us (12) and the same goal difference (minus one). Absolutely abysmal - how much invested to do that? Probably won't make the CL this year

I was amazed that he was offered a contract extension the other day and even more surprised he went and signed it. Aguero plays a game and is then out injured for 8 weeks and there only other option up top is Jesus who is total shit. That’s scandalous considering the money at their disposal.

Problems all over that team and he doesn’t seem to know how to fix it. A lot of light weight pussys in that side who will drop points all over the place this season.

No chance of him being in the latter stages of the champions league again this year as usual either.

They've played fuck all and city at home. It'll all come falling down when they have to play proper teams away from home.
