West Ham -HOME - Sat. Aug 25th 3PM

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Not confirmed yet but it’s being reported that Ozil will be miss today’s game due to “illness”.

What a fucking joke if true

Didnt know what thread to put this in, so I put it in the most recent one -

https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/7083935/ ... i-arsenal/

Very interesting to see who is the 3rd fastest player in the squad - most of us had him pegged as pedestrian
And mustafi 5th? Both quicker than welbeck 😂

Ah but do they put in a shift and run around a lot like Danny ‘Looks-Lively’ Welbeck? :D

Hilarious - his pace was one of the last remaining crutches that his defenders had to lean on and he can’t even do that anymore

Still Bellerin, still Mustafi, still Cech, still Xhaka and still Iwobi.

Nobody expected us to be able to go out and buy a whole new side but even before this season we had better options than thEm.

Isn't the old adage something along the lines of 'Insanity Is Doing the Same Thing Over and Over Again and Expecting Different Results', or something like that anyway.

Comedy Iwobi reminds me of those lads you sometimes play indoor football with.... full of great ideas but hardly ever able to actually do what they intend.... :|

I think possibly with the right coaching earlier on he might have turned into a decent player.... maybe, but he has been so thoroughly Wengerised i dont think he is able to be saved any more
