This is typical. Absolutely typical … of the kind of ARSE I have to put up with from VAR.

They ponce in here expecting to be waited on and waited on, while I’m trying to watch football. Have they any idea of how much they have ruined this? Do they ever think of that? Of course not, they’re too busy sticking their noses into every corner, poking about for things to complain about, aren’t they?!

Well let me tell you something … this is EXACTLY how Nazi Germany started! A lot of layabouts with nothing better to do than to cause trouble. Well, I’ve had enough. I’ve had it. Come on, pack your cameras, pack your tape measures and GET OUT!
:D

So Manchester Mike Riely has admitted Arsenal's disallowed goal v Palace was one of four major cases that VAR incorrectly overruled the referee.
Well Mike you were a ref of some fame (in Salford, parts of Manchester, the home counties and parts of London. We didn't need VAR to determine you were a corrupt manipulated scumbag who ruined the record of the greatest club side in God knows how many years.

Each of the clubs who have been cheated by VAR should now be refusing to play any further matches until those games in question are replayed. The Premier League have admitted that they officiated the games incorrectly and outside the agreed laws of the game and thus those results should be null and void.

Christ no; we'll lose the point we struggled to gain the first time!

We'd somehow manage to give away a goal in identical circumstances but manage to foul each other.

Sky reporting that Mike Riley is to discuss VAR standards in the Premier League with................Arsene Wenger...This is apparently as part of Wenger's new role as global development whatever with FIFA ..
As a referee Riley normally consulted with Alex Ferguson before games.

Dermot Gallagher reviewing the latest wan.ky VAR cock up that was Sterling's offside call and said it was clearly off. There is no way of telling whether he is off or not as it's that close. VAR is not the problem it's little ref cu.nts like Gallagher who are the problem.

"It's a foul isn't it" were his exact words - the mealy mouthed bald little fu.cker that he is.

Stephen Warnock pointed out that it was only a little nudge and not a shove but DG was not for changing.

Cheating *word censored* know how to use VAR to their favour. He felt a slight touch and fell to the ground knowing it would be reviewed

Agreed, cant stand that bloke. Peter Walton is another one. Given the role on TV as the refereeing expert but all he does is agree with whatever decision the officials make.

VAR decisions like the one at Palace on Saturday and the one we had against Palace will just encourage defending players to dive in their own box in the hope that any resulting goal will get ruled out.

All VAR has done so far is introduce a new set of problems without solving anywhere near enough of the old ones :banghead: It might improve over time but its been an overwhelming negative up to this point.

Just made a similar point IW8. You're absolutely right.

For me VAR is very much the problem. The entire premise behind VAR is that refereeing mistakes are now a thing of the past, but we are still seeing tonnes of mistakes get past VAR. The only difference now is we have to wait minutes for that mistake. It's killing the game as a spectacle.

Not for me mate. VAR is just a bit of fancy kit, it's how you chose to use it. Refs are having a great old time drawing lines across the pitch and stating that a players left nutsack is offside. Take it the fu.ck away from idiots like them and get somebody with half a brain in to use it. It's not difficult to realise that you simply reverse the law so that if any part of the attacker is level with any part of the defender then he is onside. That's the whole offside issue solved in one go and the benefit correctly imo given to the attacker.

That only addresses the offside issue not the VAR issue though. The VAR issue impacts on fouls hand balls etc as well as offside. Also that offside idea would actually lead to thd same silly shit with lines and mistakes anyway while they try to figure out if any part was level.....

For me if we have to have this VAR shit (and I'd rather not at all tbh) then make it a case of one VAR request per half per manager so the game can flow again.
