VAR

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Just seen that they won't be showing the lines on TV, just announcing the result of the VAR check. That's absolute bollox!

Automated offsides are in the pipeline too. :banghead:

All part of the deliberate sabotage before we returning to a pig's bladder tied up with a shoelace and a piece of tape for the crossbar

Football - the world's richest game, and the only one unable to implement technology properly.

Fucking Lu-kack-u just double elbowed a Brighton player and then scored. VAR cheats looked at it and waved it on nothing to see here.... :censored:

It was Maupay.

Conflicted now.

More VAR nonsense. The Brighton keeper just did a Schumacher 82 on that new mouser*.

Hilarious that it was the victims* getting fucked over by VAR for once, but on another note it's another clear demonstration of how fucking shit VAR is.

More utterly ridiculous sabotaging of VAR - Chalobah gets a full handful of the Barcode shirt and tugs him down.....not even reviewed.

All this "clear and obvious" and "sufficient evidence" bullshit is what's killing VAR. Even the coin throwing thicko Spit the Scouse has got enough common to call it as it is i.e. "it's either a penalty or it isn't". Why do we overcomplicate it with this nonsense rule about 'clear and obvious'.........because they want the fucking system to fail and always back the ref that's why !

As has been said on here and other threads - other FA's are making it work. Ours never wanted it and are making as big a mockery of it as possible so that the dinosaurs win

Yeah! Un-friggin-believable The Ref should have looked at the Monitor at the very least - Don't know who was on VAR must have been Stevie Wonder

Just watched MOTD from yesterday and how on earth VAR did not either send the ref to look at the elbow Havertz did on Burns is beyond me... You can tell when a player is intending to "Do" someone he takes a run up for the leap and hits him smack in the side of the head and all the ref did was give him a yellow without even consulting VAR or going to look at the monitor.

Also the Chav scum still have Big Banners around the ground with Abramovich's mug on them saying "Roman's Empire" - What a utterly classless cunty club and bunch of fans..

I think the biggest miss of the weekend was Allison running a yard out of the box with the ball in his hands, i thought for a second he was playing basketball, isn't that a straight red card

More VAR cuntology last night.

I think (apart from the obvious ruining of goal celebrations) one of the worst things about this utter cluster fuck is now we mostly feel like we are being actively cheated on a large scale by referees, VAR crunts and the PL/FA bastards.

Before VAR, decisions seemed to balance out over a season, you got some you lost some. But it was mostly down to incompetent refereeing (of course there were some absolute cheating cùnt refs like Manchester Mike Reilly) but in a weird way the incompetent refereeing was oddly comforting... you didn’t feel that cheated by it, because in the next game or two the refs would drop a clanger in your favour..... now, I for one feel there is active cheating and corruption in many VAR decisions.

Honestly VAR is the worst thing that has happened to football. This soccer fanboy modern wànker admin thing of trying to ape stupid shit that works in the shit sports like rugby and tennis is fucking killing the game. :censored:

Football is too fast and fluid a game to be regulated like the shit slow sports.

VAR is not fit for purpose because the final decision still ends with a human being, only now it's a human being sitting miles away, so all we've added is a delay in the decision being made, which kills goal celebrations dead.

Also, that virgin geek sitting in a VAR booth miles away has no grasp of the on-field atmosphere, levels of aggression, or "vibe". An example here is dangerous play. Anyone that's played football will tell you the vibe on a pitch can tell you what was dangerous against what was just clumsy. Watching it 50 times in super slow motion does not.

FOAD VAR. :censored:

50/50???!!!

Blind bald bastard. :censored:

Remember a few years ago some team came out with a stretchable jersey? If you pulled someone's Jersey the idea was it stayed stretched out for a while after? Made it really obvious? Some shite like that?

If Gabriel had been wearing one of those last night he'd have looked like he was wearing a ball gown after that pull on his jersey ffs, fucking thing would been tripping him up.
