AWAY to the Victims SAT AUGUST 24th 17:30pm

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

F.F.S I hope he doesn't play Oz-ill ! It's going to be tough enough to even try and come away with anything , if he plays Oz is ill again - We truly are FUCKKED. :banghead:

Sane & Robertson v Maitland - Niles worries me. He can't defend. Can't wait for Bellend & the young scotsman to fill the full back spots. As I said earlier in posting, would be happy with 4 - 4 draw. :barscarf: :barscarf:

Yeah it's a real shame we are crippled in the full-back areas (again) as that really gives them an advantage, I think they'll beat us though hopefully we won't sh!t our pants like last season and lose 5-1, I would probably go with 2-1 / 3-1 to them. Hope I'm wrong but I try to be objective rather than go in with blind optimism like a lot of fans, if we had a fully fit squad I think we could give them a real tough game.

55th anniversary of MOTD first being broadcasted this weekend. Main match on that night in 1964 Liverpool v Arsenal. The home team won 3-2. Here's hoping for a reversal of that result. It's a funny old game... :barscarf: :barscarf:

Big mistake keeping Willock in rather than bringing Torreira back? :banghead: I know the youngster has done ok but this is a big game and we need some steel in there, Doozy and Xhaka give you aluminium at best, rather than steel!!

Was typing the exact same thing TC...

I just don't get it, unless Torreira has an injury?

Doesn’t make a lot of sense OB? Maybe it’s payback for Torreira coming out in the papers that he can’t settle in London?? :?

Hadn't heard about that - I know a very decent offer £35 - 40 mill was made for him in the summer and we turned it down. :?

With our strongest team it was an up-hill battle, but with that utterwanker xhaka in mid-field we really are going to have to work MIRACLES!

Emery must be smoking Da Ganja Jaaah! :banghead:
