I know it's a win , but it doesn't feel as good as it should, not with that awful turgid load of shyte we had to endure in the second half...

The thing is xhaka wouldn't get into the majority of teams in the prem and the cuntts been made our Captain :suicide:

Watched majority of the game on a good stream.

Simply not good enough!

Chambers or Dozi MOTM, Dozi gets us out of so much trouble all over the pitch he is everywhere! ... chambers solid for me.

Centre half’s okay but were lucky not to concede equaliser late on.

Pepe couple good touches but still lacking confidence, I’m going to be patient but understand people who will be writing him off.

Saka looked very sharp always trying something. Looks very promising.

Auba little service so can’t complain too much.

Xhaka fucking hopeless as usual , just gives away retarded fouls again and again and holds his hands up. I can’t stand him, least favourite player to have the famous red and white on in a long time.

2 weeks rest now, and providing no international break injuries I expect/hope for us to really kick on now with Tierney, Holding, Bellerin, Lacazette starting every game.

No doubt just now that our cup team look much better than league team!

The passing from both sides was Sunday league football standard in the second half. After the international break he should have a decent side ready but I just do not trust Dick not to carry on playing Socratis,Luiz,Kolasinac,Xhaka instead of Bellerin,Chambers,Holding,Tierney and Torriera.

So is that another new rule then? Uncontested drop ball if it hits the ref?
Yes it is.

Cheers for the stream.

By Christ we made hard work of that, Bournemouth better team in 2nd half we looked clueless.

How in hell are we 3rd ?

Guendozi is carrying this team

Might as well give him the armband

I think today shows how much we rely on auba's goals, as he didn't look very sharp today, which pretty much meant the whole attack looked blunt .

Martinelli looked strong again . I think he might turn out to be hour best signing this season

Weve only lost one game. One less than city.

4 points ahead of the filth too.

Weve just played three games in six days. Five games in thirteen days. Today was always going to be shit.

Sadly a lot of our players go straight to international training tomorrow :banghead:

Defensively we look slightly better with chambers there and saka, ceballos tracking back - vital interception by dozer at the end.

Yeah its not pretty, but with our best and most consistent striker out - laca, to be unbeaten in ten games and third is okay.

If laca had been fit we likely would be a clear second now and only 4-5 points behind the mousers.

De Bruyne out again today for city - his 2nd spell out already this season.

Sane is out long term, stones is out.

We might keep up with them for a while?

Feeling good about this win is like being happy when you scold your wedge from 75 yards but it rolls up on the green anyway. You'll take it, it makes the score card look good, but deep down, you know you sucked and got lucky.

I think he's very exciting and should do well for us. He has the hunger.
Saka too has the desire that many of our lot lack.

Wasn't the best of games but on the plus side another clean sheet. Saka looking good again seems to have a lot of confidence about him. Also good to see Martinelli getting 30 minutes against better opponents (than on Thursday).

Insipid.

So far from 1998-2004

Terrible, slow boring shit.

Enjoyed the Thursday game more than this. At least those lads ran around a bit.

In general I think the Premier League is the most exciting. I watch quite a bit of the other leagues and the only one that comes even remotely close is the Bundesliga.

Italy, Spain, France etc are in the main soporific. Argentina's Primera Liga can be exciting. Particulary the Boca/River Plate matches. I wouldn't swap any of them for the Premier League though.
