The New Signings and Young Players Progress Thread
Ok so even after just a handful of games he’s already causing concern for a lot of fans. £72m is a very large wad. In his defence he’s new to the league and we know that English footie is like no other. We have had lots of players who have needed a season to bed in. However at the moment his confidence is shot and his only contribution to games seems to be to cut in from the right and float an aimless ball over everyone and out for a goal kick. His work rate is suspect too.
On current form Saka and Martinelli should be considered before him but he’s undoubtedly skilled so how long do you persist with him?

I expect this to be the shortest thread ever.

Other players have taken time to adjust true but you could see they had the talent
I've seen Nothing to suggest hes capable of playing football at anything more than efl 1 level. I do hope I'm wrong but he looks like the worst player I've seen at Arsenal since Terry Mancini

Reminds me of Glenn Helder , all action and pace with little or no end result.
Re: The Nicolas Pepe Progress Thread
Sometimes I think we make excuses for players a lot, like it takes time to settle into a club, but Pepe for the money we paid for him he needs to do a lot more. On a number of occasions, Pepe has looked off the pace physically, he tends to hold on to possession for too long and often takes the wrong option when the ball is released., His shooting has left a lot to be desired and people are starting to notice these flaws in his game.
While it’s still too early to dismiss the the guy so quickly as he has not been at the club long however, he has to improve in his all-round play and faulty end product.
