Mediocre in every aspect... says something when I am wishing I could swap several Leicester and Palace players for ours. I naively bought the Emery appointment at the start - how wrong can you be!

It's an utter shambles and I don't see it getting any better any time sadly.

I was hopeful that Emery could do the job - I was overjoyed that he wasn’t Wenker and happy to write off last season but despite on paper a decent summer in transfers in / out fundamentally nothing has changed.
I’m bored shitless watching us pass pointlessly for 5 mins then give it away or pass back to Leno.

Our midfield is so easy to walk / run / skip past with hardly a challenge in sight and then you are straight through v our defence
Yesterday 1 wolves player just ran at our 4 defenders, took them on and would have scored if he had connected at all with the ball.

I think the stat I read said they had 24 shots on goal, if you regularly let teams have that amount of shots, they will undoubtedly score.

We actually have a squad that should get 3rd....we are nowhere near finishing 3rd this season now.

He’ll be sacked after the Leicester defeat next Sunday. Good fucking riddance.

Sky Italia are claiming that this evening too
We’ll struggle Thursday afternoon out in Portugal and then it’s a nailed on defeat next Sunday.

The club then have the international break to try and somehow sort this complete shit show out.

An absolute disaster of a hire, Ivan’s last fucking stand.
Don't mean to be pedantic but it's weds evening.

3.50 on weds - technically afternoon

No way - who from those teams would seriously get into our's ? We have some real good players are therein lies the problem - we have the quality (bar defence) and our manager isn't getting the maximum from those players. He doesn't know how to set the team up, cannot see that some players (xhaka) are not good enough, his substitutions are bizarre, and his control over the players is suspect (although the blame should be shared between him and the players on that). A better manager would get so much more from these players

How about Morrison and Ndidi for 2.....attacking midfielder with guile and aggression, and can take a corner!, and a proper DM. Only my opinion but I'd take both over Ceballos/Xhaka etc etc

Actually Clash didn't, unless he's a Greek Philosopher, Academic and Teacher who 'borrowed' the term Pedant or Pedante from the beginnings of the late 4th century lexicon by French etymologists, who initially applied the term Pedante to a teacher/scholar who insisted on being absolutely precise in both the written and spoken word. :D

If only we'd smashed them out of sight like the East Midlands Globetrotters managed by the reincarnations of Bob Paisley and Brian Clough rolled into one....
