Whoever it is will be an underwhelming appointment who won't do any better than Emery or Ljungberg

Might as well stick Martinez in to speed up the relegation process. If that's what it takes for Wiggy to finally fuck off then go for it

Lee Dixon made a good point during his commentary today, no manager wants to come in at this moment in time having to make fundamental coaching changes with the games so thick and fast at this time of year, it goes back to something I was thinking when Emerys head was on the block the change should have been made at the start of the last international break to give the new boss at least a couple of weeks to begin to sort out the mess even with a few players away on international duty he could have at least started working on a rebuilding strategy but as usual our club couldn't see the wood for the trees :banghead:

Dicko always talks a lot of sense imo. Maybe the board should sound him out?

Did you see the camera focus on him in the second half and he had the unmistakable thousand yard stare. He may be having second thoughts.

I think anyone decent would want to wait until the end of the season

How about another poll ?

If it takes that long, it will be a better baptism for a coach like Arteta as Arsenal will be in the Championship and competing with Europes elite!

My eldest lad said that arseblog has made some comments online about an announcement being imminent - apparently it doesn't say who or how imminent it is though.

At this stage you would have to think that arteta would be the odds on favourite, but the longer this shitfest continues, the less likely any decent manager will want it

Why would arteta come to Arsenal when its clear he's being groomed to take over from Pep at City?

SSN reporting that Arteta is now the choice of the board...Think an announcement is coming soon..Why would talks take place in Arteta's house in Manchester when he was in London yesterday?
