According to the Telegraph, #Arsenal have stepped up the process of identifying a permanent replacement for Unai Emery by holding their first interviews with candidates for the role. https://t.co/5K7gvO2fme via @telefootball

I really think there are only maybe 2 or 3 managers in the world able to get anything out of our muppets and none of them are available to us for various reasons.......

If he changes his mind then I'll start the petition to hand back that little island chain in British waters just off the coast of Cornwall. no not the Scilly Isles, the ones a couple of miles south of them....
You're just all excited at the prospect of the Gavin and Stacey Xmas special aren't you

Tin hat on here but even til the end of the season I would take Rafa Benitez. Boring maybe but he is an organiser and is thick skinned.

I'd take Rafa too. Proven PL experience, proven European cup experience - won the CL & EL - and he would impliment a style, at least.Bradywasking wrote: ↑Fri Dec 06, 2019 7:23 amTin hat on here but even til the end of the season I would take Rafa Benitez. Me too, would organise us, did OK at Newcastle, with no funds from the owner AND has experience of dealing with a fan base who hate their owner.
Re: Who would you like to see as next manager POLL
That's 5 of us in a row that would be happy to get rafa - wouldn't normally be my type of manager, but right now we need a strong experienced manager who will take no shit, and who can organise a defence to be a better sum than of the individual parts

Fat Sam should be on that list.
Just the Man for a relegation scrap
Re: Who would you like to see as next manager POLL
It’s now well beyond just who will be the next manager. It’s a complete clear out from top to bottom. I don’t think Guardiola could do anything with our defence, they’re that shit. We need a complete new back line, possibly Tierney is the only exception. Time will tell. The rest of them are a complete shower. And most of the rest of the squad just don’t give a fuck! Dark days indeed.
Re: Who would you like to see as next manager POLL
Honestly don't care who the next manager is as long as it is someone who can organize a defence. When we don't have the ball it is abysmal and has been neglected for years.
Both Wenger and Emery seemed to have the attitude that we will score more than them and as the quality in the side has dropped we are getting found out big time.
Only when we defend better as a team will we start to see improvement.
That, and maybe move the ball quicker when we do have it.
