If there was someone available like the late Don Howe, then I would take that option in a heartbeat.
Perhaps I remember his time in charge of The Arsenal through rose tinted glasses, but I reckon that someone with similar no nonsense attributes would get us through this cluster fvck time we are currently in.
Other than that, I would take a vote on Freddy to take the reins with immediate effect (NOW or TODAY) for the rest of the season. I think he would improve our play/shape for a start. I'm unsure of who he might ask to help out with the defence, but hopefully he has enough former team mates that would gladly accept a role as a coach in that role. Whether he could instill some pride and discipline in the squad again is something else though. Ex Captain fantastic (nothing more to be said about this git) Auba, too influential on social media and his love of flashy cars/superstar lifestyle, and also probably too influential in the changing room now he has been made captain. Ozil (who remains our only world class footballer, but must be completely disillusioned with sub par managers at our club not playing to his strengths and building a team around him.) Then there is that smug/sulking 'look at me I made it as a superstar footy player'....bling bling AMN, amongst others, need a slap and/or encouragement.
If Emery's remit/demand this season is to qualify in the top 4 at all costs, then I would go for Freddy to achieve this, before I would trust the likeable Spaniard to do so. Though, the idea that aiming for 4th place in the PL sits as uncomfortably with me as asking for Jimmy Saville to babysit the kids, I reckon that Freddy has probably enough nous and desire to make anything possible for us. He is likeable, has a winning mentality and achieved plenty with our club. Is that enough though? I dunno, but I would get right behind the bloke.

Out of all the options above Allegri is the only one who is unemployed at the moment. It seems silly not to offer him the job while the chance is there.

Just out of interest, has Dick asked the players to vote for who they want as the next manager yet

You can fu.ck right off mate, we've got enough bloody comedians on here already.

They'd have to change our nickname to 'the Snowflakes' with that tw.at in charge - not funny.

Or how about a co-operative management team of Big Tone, Keown, Thierry, Bouldy & DB10 :barscarf:
