Saying that he didn't track the runner suggests that he was in the right area and a guy ran off the back of him - the reality is that he (as a CDM) was 20 yards too high up the pitch and was only getting back into position when the ball was nestling in the bottom corner

Christ we can only generalise when discussing the goings on of our lot defensively. Side show bob pushed up to make sure everyone was too far forward. We keep using Chambers on the right when it's obvious he can't recover his position in time. There was no reaction from any of them until it was far too late. In fairness to Kolasinac he came into the middle to cover but the rest of it was just a dogs dinner. As usual.

Losing the ball in the crowded opposition penalty box after trying to do fancy passes or flick on's, then lacking defensive cover as players are over committed. How many times have we seen that happen?

It would have been better to try a shot or cross, make their goalie work / get a corner or set piece, instead we piss about without any end product & then concede a preventable goal.

Teams just wait for us to mess it all up in attack, then they take us apart. What a load of predictable fúckin' crap!
