FFS Augie, Mustafi was an ever present for Emery as well, stop being selective in your comparisons  Also Gunedozi played a lot less under Emery from the mid point of his first season, Torriera was injured for a lot of the time and Mavropanas wasnt exactly an ever present for him either....Saliba was bought by Emery and immediately returned on loan and never played for Emery either.

There are a shit load of mistakes Arteta has made, way more than Emery but ffs dont pretend Emery was some sort of messiah, Mustafi, Kolasinac and Xhaka all played regularly for Emery the three of whom are considered by many of whom on here to be some of the worst players Arsenal have had in recent years :banghead:

I was responding to arteta's comment about the fact that he claims that we havent had a clear out for years - this wasnt about who was the better manager. Emery did get rid of a lot of the shit wenker accumulated, whilst in 18 months pep's cone boy has got rid of fcuk all, and that is mostly what I was talking about

And I keep saying that you can only offload a player if another club wants them. If a sale can't be agreed for whatever reason then a loan is the next best option.

Nobody listens to me though.

I’ve been trying to sell Clummo to Red Cafe but they won’t have it. Looks like a loan to Cottage Corner.

My point remains though, that pep's cone boy is pointing the finger at the club and previous managers claiming that a clear out hasnt been had in years, when the reality is that there was a big clear out under emery, and he has cleared out fcuk all. Keown had a pop pre-match about arteta refusing to accept responsibility for this malaise, and this clearout dig is another example of that imo

I agree with Arteta's assessment of the club over the last 5 years. We've all seen it. However, I'd include him as being a part of it and therefore would be part of the clear out.
